  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Suicide (in society) is always seen as something to be prevented or something to be ashamed of if attempted. All they do is send people to suicide hotlines or tell people to exercise and basically stfu. Okay, I get that if someone wants help or can be helped then it can be prevented and that person could live a fairly healthy life, but not always. Suffering stems from attachment, painful thoughts and a whole host of issues. I will never be okay with people telling me that I need to live in permanent suffering, just because they want to pretend that things will get better and that life is a blessing. Those people need a reality check. My body, my choice. Deal with it!

Suicide could in theory undermine the fabric of society.

If the fear of death was gone.

Mass access to things like Nembutal where on every street corner.

People where open to the idea of suicide and wouldn't try lock you up in a ward.

Society may hypothetically be unmanageable in that situation.

People would rebel, people would be likely to cause revolution.

It's far easier to give the masses bread and circuses and try keep them busy with work and game shows on tv.

Emphasis from media, guilt tripping, societies view point, The state, religious institutions all put effort to stop suicide not because they care about us and love us, it's for nefarious reasons 100%.

Everyone knows their government doesn't have their best interest at heart, why would suddenly they show love and compassion over a subject like suicide.

There is a vested interest in keeping people scared, frightened and guilt tripped into conforming, not only in matters of suicide but in a lot of areas when you think about it.

It exhausts me to see people treat suicide like it's a disease, something that inherently needs to be stopped, as if it was the root of the individual's suffering. How blissfully blind can they get? People kill themselves all the time, it's always been the same story. We die a horrible death, only for them to stay comfortable.

he did.
told me to
call the hotline for mentals
from 2020 i'll never forget.

it happened again in 2021.
was told to do it, but still havent instead i always cry, which i didnt but.
happens again that year in june, and another on September
and again twice this year just recently.
but i dont care anymore now if its so shameful. im not doing this for anyone but myself for my own relief even if i must endure some agonizing physical pain to get there i'm already in physical pain now so whats there left? hanging around caring whether others shame me for being suicidal.

I do wish that we lived in a world where our right to die is respected and then we could exit peacefully when the time is right for us. If people want to live then that is their choice but they should not try and force others to. Life is completely meaningless after all, and we will all die eventually someday. Living is not an obligation as we never asked to be here in the first place. More than anything I wish that it was easier to leave this world, to me there is nothing wrong with suicide, it can be perfectly rational in a world like this.
