Is it possible to have an OD with sertraline? unhappy it's my only medicine that I've got. thinking about a Xanax OD.
my life never gets better, so I'm done.

It won't be easy or pleasant, and you'll need an awful lot!!
As an absolute minimum you'd need a gram per kilo of your weight.

I can only tell you what I've seen. DON'T DO IT. A family member of mine overdosed on sertraline, took about 4200mg together with alcohol, got brain and liver damage followed by severe (and I mean SEVERE) depression. It was a horrible couple of months.

No, none of the SSRI medications will kill you, it's partly the reason they were made compared to the older trycyclics.

If you want to overdose get strong opoids and combine them with benzos, otherwise try to find another method. To be honest I don't understand why so many people want to kill themselves by overdosing regular medication, if you don't know exactly what you're doing it's one of the methods that will almost surely fail and just get you in more trouble.
And don't try to kill yourself with Xanax only, it's almost impossible to kill yourself overdosing only benzos, if you don't combine them with opoids.

The only thing i would regard as a fail safe are hard to get potentially if you don't know a dealer, opiates or barbiturates. I have survived an Amitriptyline overdose, though i stopped breathing and was in intensive care for a few days. Overdosing is tricky, even people who have chronic pain can survive large overdoses of opiates, due to building up a tolerance. I am sorry but i really don't have an answer, i am not into illegal drugs but would love to get my hands on some heroin. It's tough when you have limited options, i am having to reconsider suspension hanging because things are that bad.
