Help Seroquel as an antiemtic with SN?

Seroquel makes nausea basically impossible for me. I'm wondering if it's effective while taking SN?

Wow, really? I'll admit that I've not thought of using an antipsychotic during SN before, but possibly? If it helps with vomiting I don't see why not. I guess it depends if you're using OS as well?

My bad for the late reply, but I can take Seroquel while extremely nauseous and suddenly I'm not only nausea free, but extremely hungry. It is one of the major downsides because it makes me overeat, but could potentially be very useful with SN

Seroquel is intense. It's almost shutting me down. Helps with sleep but then I can't shake it.
No science but I think it would help with this.

What do you mean by shutting you down?

Seroquel is a 'kiss and run' dopamine blocker, so it actively shuts down part of the CTZ making you less prone to be nauseaus and having to vomit. It shouldn't be as effective as meto, but it will definitely be a decent replacement.

My body is basically numb. So groggy. I know it affects every differently but others have said they experience this too. Sorry it's likely not foolproof but if it does affect you I think it will help

Oh I absolutely get that too, but I'm prescribed it for sleep so that's what I'm looking for.

idk I was passing out a few minutes after drinking the SN and then next thing I remember I was in the ICU. couldnt have been that long though I guess, otherwise I wouldnt still be here.

You'd need upwards of 800mg to get the AE effect. Do your research, folks!

I've read of people taking Seroquel as part of the protocol, but I think it's due to the drowsy/sedating effects. I take 300mg daily to manage my bipolar II and plan to use it as part of my protocol, but haven't decided exactly how much or when.
