  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

has anyone here ever experimented with combining blades and flames? ive been curious as to what would happen if i heated up a blade (in my case itd be a exacto knife) and used that. would it both burn my skin and cut it? will it allow me to go deeper more easily? is there any high risks as to not do this?

curiosity is getting to the best of me and i just want to know any risks before testing it out.

Most things expand upon heating up so most likely it will not make it easier.
Depending on how hot it is, it can give you burn marks or melt your skin

i wouldn't recommend it... i think all it'd do if you actually got it hot enough to do more than hurt is damage the blade enough so that its not sharp anymore

If the blade is hot enough it will sear the skin as it goes through it. It will hurt until the nerve endings get fried. For me this type of wound has a likelihood of developing an infection, make sure it doesn't get a start because blood flow to that area is compromised

No judgement but I think that is a very good choice.

I tried to do that once, but failed pretty miserably. I don't know why since I can't handle burns well at all. So, I'm not sure what exactly the wound would be like I'm also not sure if it would make cutting deeper easier, but I doubt it since it'd be really painful. It also messed up my blade, so I don't recommend it.
