• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I'm thinking of a method to overcome my hesitation.

I will pull out cash and go to as shady an area as I can find to try to find a trigger-puller, ID them, then tell them: if you kill me, you're welcome to the cash. If you simply wound me, then I hunt you down with your known identity and the rest of my assets, and then kill myself another way.

ID could even be a street name, if it's verified as their actual street name, but the key part is that I know who the person is, so that I can retaliate if I survive, in order to try to ensure they kill me rather than wounding me.

Hell, it could be cheaper than MAID!

this seems so much harder then just getting an exit bag set up?
I remember reading a reddit no sleep store years ago about a guy that put a hit out on himself

This is not TV or a movie. Literally no one would do that. This is under the same vein as "hiring a hitman on the darkweb" which is not an actual thing. If this worked there would be a line around the block in every hood of people signing up to get shot and gangs getting very rich.

Why aren't the hoodlums doing it though ? It's a huge win win. They get cash we get peace. The irony with these people is that they shoot random people for a pack of cigarettes but if you request them to shoot you for money, they probably wouldn't. Instead they will beat you up and rob you.

This seems like an easy peasy method to pull off in a gun rich country like America. But I doubt it works.

Because even the "tough guys" do not shoot people unless they feel they have to? Look up robberies at gunpoint. There are a surprising number of videos of criminals walking away empty handed because they could not pull the trigger. Most gang members are not trigger-happy murderers.

Also, there are things called laws and several of them pertain to killing people, even with their consent. One of the easiest ways to get your entire gang thrown in federal prison is to open an execution business.

I agree that this is obviously not a viable methods.

That said it's ridiculous to claim that lots of people would sign up for this service. Only a very small % of the population are chronically suicidal.

Even 0.1% of 8 billion is 8,000,000 people. That is still a very long line.

This is just in 1 country the USA in one year 2022.

Suicide deaths, plans, and attempts in the United States

Untitleddesign21.png

This in one year one country even with the massive constant pro-life propaganda including the hiding of how bad pain and old age can be. More proof they are trying to hide how bad life is nobody knows these stats are so high. Extrapolated world wide 38 million attempt suicide every year worldwide

That shows how horrible life really is

From that website link:

"Over 49,000 people died by suicide in 2022.
1 death every 11 minutes.
Many adults think about suicide or attempt suicide.
13.2 million seriously thought about suicide.
3.8 million made a plan for suicide.
1.6 million attempted suicide."

Well it isn't even close to 0.1% for a start. More like 0.01%.

800k people spread around the whole entire planet wouldn't be able to form a line, because a line requires you to be close together.

The island of Manhattan is one of the most densely populated places in the whole world. It has a population of 1.6 million, so about 170 people who will commit suicide in the next year (mostly in response to a temporary crisis)- and that's spread across the whole damn island. If all of those people gathered to access the services of someone who was in town for one week only, the queue would only go about 200m. In less densely-populated places, there wouldn't be a queue at all.
