The prospectus says that more than 300 mg(3mL) is not suitable. Lidocaine is usually used in %2 concentration but I am lucky because I found with %10 concentration.
Each ampule contains 500 mg(5mL) %10 lidocaine.
I heard that in a %2 lidocaine injection, more than 20-30 mL (2000-3000mg) can cause nystagmus, tremor convulsions and even respiratory failure or cardiac arrest.
I have a concentration of %10 percent, so does that mean more than 4-5 mL can cause death?
Any idea is appreciated.
Thanks
