Have you ever had food poisoning? It's not at all pleasant. Personally- I don't think I'd want to endure the discomfort or the possibility of it failing. I expect it's very hit and miss. In my case, I was sick to my stomach- literally where you end up with green bile. Very tired, very weak but I got better. That was also as a student! Lol.

I'd be careful also what type of food it is as to what types of microbes/ parasites you're injesting. I once saw a programme about a woman who ate some out of date sushi bought from a petrol station and ended up with a tape worm.

These are awful ways to go but I heard caffeine powder I think some guy put it in a smoothie and he died that way awful way to go he was one of this guys that loved the gym fitness. And then there is bitter almond, plants but those are awful ways to go :(

No need to be sorry. It's not insensitive at all. I expect we've all looked at accidental deaths and wondered if it's a viable method. Yeah- it was ages ago and I was nowhere near death- it was just really unpleasant. Nah- I just meant- for whatever method we choose, it's best to do our research I think. Sadly, we're all guinea pigs ultimately but- may as well do all the research we can to avoid unpleasant failed attempts. Still- obviously it can work under the right conditions. I wonder if he had any underlying health issues.

It won't be a good death. Chances are slow and very very unpleasant. Chances are it won't even work. Chances are you'll just become very sick. Even if it could be lethal you'd be suffering too much not to get help. Honestly, likelihood of this working is less than 1% imo. 1% if you're lucky.
