Searching and failing to find happy memories

Do you have this trouble too? Looking through your life for something that might have been joyful and pleasant, if but for a brief moment, and finding nothing?

I am 39 and it has been an empty and meaningless existence.

I had happy moments in my childhood, and even into my mid twenties. Things went downhill after that and any happy moments became few and far between. Haven't had any in nearly 30 years. Don't even remember what they felt like.

Such a thing as happiness doesn't even exist to me, it could never do, in my case I've never wished to endure this existence I was unfortunate enough to burdened with, existence is just so dreadful and futile to me, it's completely undesirable, my existence has always been incredibly empty. I'm just waiting around to die in an existence I was never meant for. I've only ever desired the true peace of eternal non-existence.
