Can somebody please help me with what to literally say when going into the AirGas store to buy nitrogen(or argon etc if its easier to get). I have terrible anxiety and want to seem like im buying it for legitimate reasons. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you for your time.

The store I got my gas from didn't ask any questions, but I told my Uber driver that it was for a home Nitro Coffee setup, and that I make a lot of it regularly (I work overnights so I have some extra credence to my story). Another option would be a home brewery, if that's an option. But again, that's if they ask and dare to pry.

You do not want argon. It won't inflate the bag properly, as several members here have stated.

They literally couldn't care less. I was going to say I wanted it for brewing, but then I read that a nitrogen/oxygen blend is sometimes recommended for that, so instead I opted for a reason that would require pure nitrogen. I said I needed it for food packaging. Best thing you could say to avoid any unwanted questions is to say you know your friend wants pure nitrogen gas for some culinary purpose, and you don't know the details but you want to get it to surprise them. But they just sell it, they aren't there to interrogate you. They do not care.

Seems to be in US? Would help if you could share your location (US, EU, or other...).
They all have other standards.
I can easily buy it online with delivery at home (EU, Germany).

Just wondering what size did you get, and any issues with securing it in your uber? The one I inquired about they mentioned was maybe 2 ft tall and they gave me detailed instructions about storing it upright etc.

I got a 40cuft, I held it on the floor between my legs for the ride home. I'm worried I damaged the center console of the car with how I stored my empty tank on the seat (and it rolling off) in the Uber there. I figured it wouldn't be a horrible sin if I was gonna be dead soon, but here I am.

Are you still planning on using the nitrogen you bought?

I don't know yet. Having it lets me know I'm not trapped here and that's been keeping me a bit more stable, but it also lets me know I'm also not trapped here, to put it in a way.

Do you feel like nitrogen is the most peaceful method? Also, what is your setup? How will you consume the nitrogen?

I can't speak for other inert gasses, but there's very little physical pain involved afaik, if any. The Exit Bag setup is my intended consumption 8 foot welding hose and the per-instructions oven bag rig.

The welding hose is too big. First the weight is too big for the bag. The bag is ultra thin and the weight keep it pushing down. Second the gap of the welding hose on the entry of the bag is too big. Air keeps flowing through this gap and make you suffering.
I recommend standard oxygen tubes. You just need 15-17 LPM, not high pressure the welding hoses are made for...
There are some adapters, available everywhere.
I made a pic of my connection:

I also made a whole thread about my setup.
Its very special, but basics are the same with exit bag.

Can you link or point me in the right direction of the instructions you used? I'd appreciate it. Thank you

Separate post:

Does anyone else's browser (I'm on iPhone safari) not load pictures? It just shows a small question mark. I'm not sure why. Or how to fix it. I tried to upload a picture of what I'm seeing. Not sure if it will upload

I've tested her setup and can confirm it doesn't have either of those problems.
