Discussion Scba mask and age of the equipment

Hi,

Has anyone here tried the panorama scba mask? I found that this mask only has one size and it looks quite small from the picture, I have a big head so I am worried this might not fit my face, can anyone who tried this mask share their thoughts?

I know gas monkey recommended fps7000 because it has the lowest breathing resistance, but it's quite difficult to find the large size fps7000 in the UK.

Also does anyone know if the age of the equipment can be a problem? I found a scba set that includes a LDV, but the LDV was last tested in 2011, which is over 14 years. The seller said the scba set is brand new and never been used, but I am still quite worried.

To answer my own question, I have got the panorama nova mask and it fits really well, breathing resistance was a problem at first, but it became much better after adjusting the exhaustion valve plate and activating PP.

Haven't tried fps7000 but this mask feels decent enough.
