If someone planned to CTB via drug overdose including Opioids (Oxycodone) and said attempt failed,
is there a risk to become addicted to Oxycodone after only using a single high dose?

I'm probably not the best person to respond but I have never heard of someone getting addicted after one dose. Even if it is high as you will feel the side effects way more than the actual drug itself. Maybe I'm wrong. That's just from personal experience and from what I've seen. It's also extremely difficult to overdose but I'm sure you already know that.

I heard of people not being instantly addicted but instantly hooked and buying new stuff right away and thus forming an addiction.
I know that OD is difficult but unfortunately its the most humane way accessible to me

Tricky one :: my memories of my first few hits are fundamental to my addictive process - I hope they don't continue 'experimenting'....or using opiates to cope - thats the dangerous stuff.
Addiction & suicide ideation are two sides of the same fateful coin...
Again, do some research pls :: opiates are not foolproof :: and H od is slow and painfull:: naloxone will resurrected yr arse.

thats what im worried about. continue using after the attempt because it helped to cope, assumed it would fail

i think you ask this because you know yourself to be prone to addictive behavior. because people don't just get addicted because of how something makes them feel but also how it changes they they go about their day, that's what makes it hard to quit. there's a possibility you will experience such a nice high that you will have strong desire to reexperience it for a while after it, but you can't technically get hooked on it right away, im pretty sure that's impossible.

oxy is expensive af btw.

While there is a risk of this happening I feel it is quite small if you're planning on a multi drugs overdose with opiates as its likely you will not recall the experience much and will not have time to enjoy the high it produces as you'll be quickly unconscious.

Is it a first-hand experience??? If not, have you got a source?
Yup. Me.
22 years of "functional" addiction.
First pethadene, then heroin. Have shared my shit, my profiles open.
Would h8 anyone to struggle/ suffer like I have.
O.ds (mostly accidental, but even so resuscitated after going down)
☆ brutal 《nothing of that glamor tv crap u see》:: ods // fitting // organ shutdown // suffocation // near drowning.
I plan to s.n with H.

You won't get addicted off an oxy binge or one high dose. I'm actually very skeptical that it would kill you either. All the deaths are with fent oxy pretty much so cause of death is fentanyl.

No, you won't get addicted to oxy after using it to try to ctb.

To develop a physical addiction would be after prolonged use.

When people talk about 'instantly become an addict' after taking something once, they're talking about psychological addiction - the high redefines happiness for them.
If you're taking so so much oxy it'll (nigh-on) kill you, it won't be a pleasurable experience/high.* Therefore you're not gonna get psychologically addicted to them either.

*(having 5 beers might be nice, would having 50 be?)

I still would not recommend this method btw.

I mean, if you take enough to intentionally OD it probably won't be a good experience if you survive. You'd probably never want to get anywhere near them again.

Are u wanting to use benzos to od?
They don't make em like they used to...
If thats all i had id have to crush & shoot em.
I stopped shooting ages ago but realise I'm gonna have to because of tolerances etc.
☆ My plan is 4gsH, and sn if it ever get the balls to pick it up from my ex.
I know alcohol brings wierd variations ( a friend tried o.ding and ended up recovering cos he shat himself) not pretty, but suicide never is.

I doubt it. The whole rumour about instantly becoming addicted after shooting up once is a myth so that's probably the same for Oxy.

Physiological addictions require your body to get so used to a drug that it doesn't know how to be without it. You won't get that from one binge.

not if added to oxycodone?
Opiates and alcohol alone will kill you, I've had a few friends that went this way. Accidental overdoses but still. With benso the danger increases further.

Benso and booze is only good if you want to wake up in jail with zero memory and zero clothes.

No it wouldn't cause addiction.

Any prescription med ODs have a 12.3% chance of success. Personally I'd choose something else.

Impossible to say, depends on many things. Body weight, tolerance, means of administration. Pills usually have poor bioavailability, not to mention you risk throwing them up, especially with a belly full of vodka. If administered IV maybe but I wouldn't risk it.

If there's a euphoric feeling, I'd say it's possible to want to feel that feeling again and "ride it out."

I guess it depends on the person.

"oh man that was good shit" - note that's not gonna last long, the tolerance goes up, along with the misery and so on.
