maybe speaking as a man who likes men will make me look like i've got a little bias, but i do agree with you. politics always piss people off regardless of where you fall, this place is no different. my stance is that religion is fake (because it objectively is; any type of diety is a made up storybook character, i don't often take perspectives of theists on any otherwise logical discussion seriously in most situations), and individuals are really allowed to feel however they want about non white people, women, trans or gay/bisexual people, poor people, etc., but it's so much more entertaining to witness an idealogy that prides itself on "logic" and "objective/tough truth" throw a tantrum at the presence or proposition of any potential political disarm.
