80 long years filled with success, happiness and love is so unfair???

She was such an amazing woman, truly an angel. I also think it's worth remembering she could've easily been a billionaire, but instead chose massive donations and philanthropy like the Imagination Library, $1 million to disaster relief after Hurricane Helene, an undisclosed amount to a hospital they renamed after her (they said the amount was "generational" and "transformational" and "beyond their wildest expectations").

All that to say I believe she was a genuinely good and kind soul so it's sad to see her go. I know she was having health troubles after her husband died, didn't think it would take her so soon though. RIP Dolly Parton

All of east TN is just in tatters over it, it's all anyone has been talking about all day and likely to be for weeks. Maybe I'll finally leave the house to go to one of the (I can only assume) dozen of parades in her honor that will come up.

I know a lot of people reach close to 90 or over 90 years old , but 80 years is still a full life , I don't know what you mean by "unfair" , she lived to old age
