I need to find a mask/respirator that will protect me from carbon monoxide(CO).
The reason I want it is because I need time to fill my car with CO and check the ppm.
It will prevent me from fainting before I ctb.
I found some on Amazon, but I'm not sure whether they'll do the job.
The ones I found they protect against organic varpors and gasses.
I don't know if carbon monoxide fits that category.
The cheaper the mask, the better.

Please help me out, my vision and overall health are declining.

Here's what I've got:

1) 3M Half Facepiece Disposable Respirator Assembly 5301, Organic Vapor Respiratory Protection, Large(Pack of 1)

2) 3M Rugged Comfort Quick Latch Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6503QL, Gases, Vapors, Dust, Large

3) Honeywell North - Model number: 770030M

4) P-SMART Half face Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge Dust Gas Face Protection for Respirator 6200

YOu would need one like firefighters use. I'm not sure what they use but I think it involves carrying an oxygen tank.

Thank you for the reply!

I'm stuck!
I've been ordering most of my staff from hardware stores and picking them up myself.
I couldn't find a mask that filters CO on Amazon.
I want to avoid ordering from ebay or any other services that does delivery because I don't want to raise any suspicion.
With Amazon, I ordered some stuff and they were delivered to a pickup location. That way I was able to receive the items without anyone knowing and I hid them well.

Are there any other ways to filter CO without using a mask/respirator?
Would an N95 mask or other material help?

Look for CO/NO cartridge filters for your mask. They're specialist application cartridges and cheap they are most definitely not... $/€50+.
I doubt Amazon would carry them

Thank you for the video.

I think I'll start looking for an oxygen tank that I can attach to my mask.

If I'm unable to find it, what are my options?
I want to make sure I won't faint while the generator is building CO.

You will need to figure this out on your own but I do not recommend being around CO at all with or without any type of mask. It is so deadly if you are near it you can die.

what does ppm stands for ?

medidation guide, can you help me to understand what is Thanatos plan ? My thinking is that when he is inside a car there is also CO generator inside the car. As more and more CO is filling a car Thanatos needs to wear his mask in order to check CO level inside a car. When CO level is high enough Thanatos will take off his mask, faint immediately and die soon later. Is my thinking right ?

Almost.

When the generator will be running inside the car I'll be outside the car. One of my windows will be a bit open for the CO meter to measure the ppm(particles per million). Once I reach about 10,000ppm, I'll step inside take off the mask and ctb.

The reason why I need a mask is to avoid fainting while I'm outside measuring the CO levels.

I gotta ctb soon, because I have an eye disease that is slowly causing me to lose my vision.
Doctors don't seem to be helpful at all. The only thing they suggest me is to start getting used to my new life.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Have you already got equipment that generates CO and equipment that measures CO levels ?

Are you sure you need a mask for that? Just stay somewhat upwind from the car if you can and it shouldn't be a problem.
Afterall CO is not a nasty poison like hygrogen sulfide.

Yes
I've got everything.
I took my time to do my research and everything is ready.

The only thing I'm missing is a mask or some sort of DIY way of preventing me from fainting while the generator fills my car with CO.
I don't know what else to do.

I've thought of that too.
but I'm sure if the CO levels are high, I might faint if I don't hold my breath long enough or if I stay upwind from my car.

Are there any fabrics or objects that CO can't penetrate?
I was thinking to use a medical mask with a face shield(similar to the ones worn by nurses and doctors working with COVID patients).

Thanatos, 1. what do you call in English this device that measures CO levels ? 2. Where did you learn about how high the level of CO must be in your car so that you faint and ctb easily ? Is knowledge like this available somewhere for regular people ?

Hey how are you going to close the window in the car? I think you can do a trial run for X minutes, measure the PPM and now you have your baseline and target. I like this approach. CO can be kind of finicky as some have had some frustrating failures with it. Many have also succeeded with it. I wish you well.
Honestly thanatos I like your approach - it's one I tossed around myself last year and didnt get much feedback on.

A couple things: popping some benzos prior to might be in your best interest.

Also, there have been reports of eye burning that can be unbearable. You may want to consider some goggles. I do hope that it is so overpowering that it doesnt matter but just wanted you to know

Have a look at fire escape kits, they're not too expensive and might do the job

Where did you read about the eye burning? I feel like I've consumed a lot of info on the CO method but haven't read about that.

Would a "SWAG oxygen" do the job?
I searched for oxygen cylinder on Amazon and I came up with this.
This is basically used for athletes and it comes with a mask.
What do you think?

I was not able to find it on amazon.
Amazon is the only source where I can order an item and pick it up at a pickup location to avoid suspicion.

I found a couple of fire escape kits on Amazon.
What exactly should I look for when searching for them?
Am I looking for a fire escape blanket?

I've read about that here.
I already have goggles just in case if I feel my eyes burning.
I don't think it's the CO itself that causes the burning, but the high temps cause by the generator constantly running.

Could you also tell me your opinion on a small oxygen tank called swag oxygen?

It comes with a built in mask, so I'm not sure if it'll do the job.
Getting a mask is critical for me in order to succeed. Your help is greatly appreciated!

My CTB date is on the 22nd, so I gotta get this last item I need.

I dunno man...why bring oxygen into a death chamber? Can you do this in a garage at all? I like the idea of walking into a garage and being overtaken by the CO. It will still work in a car but you have to be vigilant about SI. A gal from here was determined to do CO, had everything set up perfect in her tent and ended up clawing out somehow with burns.
Are you against SN?

Interacting with folks that have tried CO and on these boards. Eye burning is a thing.

I don't have a garage.
I'll be doing this in my car in the woods.
I've prepared everything and everything is ready.
The only thing I'm missing is a good mask.

Do you think "SWAG oxygen" would do?

EDIT: Even if I did this in the garage, it still does not change the fact that I need a way to prevent myself from fainting while the generator is producing CO in the car and at the same time I'll be measuring CO levels with a PPM meter.
