I had the idea of hooking up a respirator to a nitrogen regulator as an alternative to the standard exit bag. It provides an exhalation valve which makes sure CO2 doesn't build up, it would be very secure if well-fitted, and (importantly for me, due to autism sensory bullshit) it doesn't require affixing anything around your neck. There are already 3D printable adapters for filters that could be adapted to accept a hose fitting.
Thoughts? I haven't gotten around to making a mockup yet, but I think it could work pretty well.
