I can't get my hands on anything like SN, nitrogen tanks for exit bag method, or any other mostly painless method that I've researched. Partial hanging was also something I was thinking of, but it's very hard to do properly, and if I do plan to do that I fear that I won't succeed.

So, I've settled on jumping. I want it to be peaceful, and I live right by a lake, only a five minute walk away. The mountain by it is about 200 feet, I'd say, and would take a few hours to hike up to the top. I know that there's a path, because I've seen people at the top before and heard of people hiking there. I've always wanted to go by jumping before, but it didn't seem like a possibility until I thought about it more.

Would I survive a drop that high? I doubt it, but I'm also worried it would take me a while to die and I would be laying there in agony. I also might land in the lake, and that would probably up my chances unless I get knocked out/injured enough that I can't swim.

Edit; I really suck at estimating lmao. Pretty sure it's more like 100 feet, but I can't be sure until I see it again and it's been a while. I usually only go in the summer. Also, the landing is very rocky, if I don't end up in the lake. I very much doubt I will be able to control how I land, so there's a chance I may land on my legs.

I understand feeling desperate, but please don't make an impulsive decision here. This sounds like a very sketchy and unpredictable method, in my opinion. Please don't put yourself in danger like this. With how you've described it being rocky and whatnot, this doesn't sound like a good way to go out, and besides, people have survived mountaineering accidents like this before. I reckon it'd be very painful and wouldn't be a quick end, if it would be any end at all.

Sending hugs because I know how it is to be out of options, but this sounds very risky, so please don't do it.

Please do calculate actual hight of the hill, wind speed, and when the area is not crowded. Also, please ensure that the area where you land should be a solid one.

Oh, no, this isn't impulsive whatsoever. It's been a viable method for me for weeks now, and is only something I will resort to if I can't turn my life around. I am not planning on killing myself anytime soon, so you don't have to worry in that regard.

If it comes down to it, I don't care much about the pain. I would prefer something painless, but throughout all my research, there isn't a method that I've been able to find that I can get my hands on or be able to succeed with. The mountain is sheer, so I won't have to worry about hitting something on my way down at least, which will up my chances. I just want to know the chances of me succeeding and how quick I may die depending on how and where I land.

I'll have to go check myself to be sure, but it's definitely around 100 feet, give or take. The beach of the lake is only ever 'crowded' in the summer and during the day, and I am not planning on ever attempting during daytime, so I don't have to worry about that. And it's unlikely that someone would find my body before the police looking for me do, as the visitors don't usually climb the rocks and stay more on the sand and in the lake. There are some solid places I could land, but I'm not sure if I would be able to reach them.
