• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Aside from the SI issue.
I think my biggest fear is that it's going to hurt a lot and/or that I'll survive it. I've read some stories of people who've survived a jump, and while they were truly horrifying, they usually jumped from a much smaller height.

If you land on concrete, you have very little chance of surviving. If you land on somethng softer, like grass, the chance of survivig is a bit higher, though still probably not very high. However, if there are bushes among the grass, there is a possibility that they could break your fall. I read of a skydiver whose parachutes failed, but who survived because a bush broke his fall. (He was badly injured, however.)

I doubt death is instantaneous, but, then again, there is really no assurance that any method produces instantaneous death. That being said, I think the best you could hope for is a near instantaneous unconsciousness, followed by a fairly quick death, which you wouldn't be aware was even happening. I answer it this way because I don't believe life is extinguished like that of light bulb being turned off by a switch. I don't see how you'd survive a 330 ft fall, and no doubt it will come with a lot of pain, if you're conscious to experience that pain, but I really doubt you would be, at least not for very long. Hopefully not, right?
