i just want to buy a house for me and my dad .

he lost it after getting conned and scammed into selling it by my brother.

my brother and his wife then took the money and said they would build him a new house in their yard and also help him financially .

i spoke to lawyers and they said my brother is legally liable for breaking of a verbal contract.

i even told the lawyers il undergo polygraph test and i wont lie in court as thats perjury and a crime.

my father doesnt want to proceed with the case, hes old and stressed and its giving him chest pain.

so i want to buy a new house for him .

my father is 70 and worked hard all his life for that house.

he shouldnt work anymore and deserves to relax in his own house.

please any ideas? (nothing illegal)

im also useless with my hands so i cant do handjobs/ physical stuff!

im good with my mouth and head though and very academic and computers.

any idea????

there are tech jobs pay that much, but I imagine it's difficult to get one that pays that well if you aren't already in the field

I have no idea. If it was early 2021 I would say 'buy Solana' but it isn't.

So no handjobs, but you're good with your mouth and head? Are you thinking of a particular professional field here?

Thought the same thing reading the OP lol. Interesting word choices there.

I was also thinking crypto of some kind, especially since btc seems like it's going back up rn, but the entry price is high and the volatility is a definite cause for concern if you can't afford to lose anything.

It's not a bad idea but research it well. It's a bit of a gamble since the powers that be can pull the plug any time they want, but if they don't it should go up eventually and those that buy really low will profit.

I currently have Cardano and Smooth Love Potion (perhaps something else) and they are worth like 20% of what I invested initially. I was a horrible trader, fortunately it was just a testing amount.

The best advice I can give you is that you need to find the next fad and buy just when it is starting and sell as soon as you make at least 2x profit.

One safe way of making sure your money does not lose value over time (due to inflation), is to invest in ETFs.
They won't give you a huge return in a short period of time like individual stocks or crypto do but they are also much safer.

They are great to increase your savings gradually over the years, by maybe 3-6 % on average per year(according to which ETFs you choose). So they are great long term assets.

One way of making sure your money does not lose in value (due to inflation), is to invest in different ETFs. They won't make you rich but they increase your investment by maybe 3-6% a year on average (depending on what you buy). Enough to fight inflation at least. It's a good way of saving money for the future and making sure you have enough once you are old.
thank you for the advice i will look into efts some more.

I definitely hear that. If my mom was still here, everything I do would be for her comfort. Shame on your brother for taking advantage of your dad like that and I hope you figure something out.

I would recommend reading a book on ETF's, the author should be someone reputable. I know of a good introductory book i have read myself but it's sadly not in english so I don't think it will be of any use to you..

That's a terrible plan- you could just as easily lose most of it- many peopel have lost huge amounts in cryptocurrency in the past year- it's very volatile.

Guys, please do not invest all your money in cryptocurrency. I would not go more than 3/5% of what I have and would stick with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

As a matter of fact: do not invest at all if you don't possess enough knowledge for it; the chance of you losing all your money is almost certain like that. I know you are in a hurry, but there's no such a thing as easy and quick money. You get money working hard. Investing will only help you multiply it. Study a lot before you start it but be careful in what information you trust. There are a lot of people in this field trying to scam you, making you buy their courses and providing wrong information.

8 hr job plus a 6hr part time 7 days a week. Share board, limit expenses.
You could also get 2 -12hr jobs. Since employers usually limit overtime.

Get a source of passive income like: Save your money on bonds and make sure your money is always on bonds. This keep the interest coming in
Use a credit line for expenses and sell an asset prior prior to future expenses.
And I ran out of ideas. ☹️.
Forgive me if I don't address your concerns fully, I only read your post's title.

I don't know much about it. I think your timeline for making this much money is not realistic unless you are currently making somewhat close to this m uch money- incomes increase over timne if you get on a good career path and dedicate yourself- or possibly start a company. BUt it takes years to build things up. I admire your ambition and it would be worth it to dedicate yourself as much as possible for a year to increasing income and see where you get to. Anything investment that has a possibly high rate of return also has a possibly high rate of losing a lot of money. INvestments won't be the way to get there quickly, they take years. WOrking hard, spending as little as possible, and putting it into stocks seems lke a good plan, but it still likely won't go as fast as you hope.

ETFs won't be able to get you enough money in a year for a house sadly, they are only really useful to put savings away for the future.

You will need some other primary income if you want your plan to work. I agree with the others, you really shouldn't invest in crypto or individual stocks.
The higher the potential return, the greater the risk .There is no such thing as low risk high return on the stock market, that's one thing to keep in mind.

Depending on your location some jobs will be better paying than others, from the ones that do pay good, you can apply for the ones you think you could do best. If you are able to get a job, you can start working towards your goal.

Additionally you could do a mini job alongside, it won't be easy but if you are really determined I think you can earn a good amount of money in a short time this way.

I am not a financial expert but I hope you found some use in what I wrote.
I wish you and your father only the best for the future :)

Ohh, thanks that's Mochi/ Mitao Cat. You can look it up, it's awesome.

And I think maybe data entry, oh and nursing if you want to go back to school. I've heard data center technicians work a lot. Also overtime on nursing is pretty common.
Also you don't have to pay it all, a good credit score can help you get a good loan. The trick is to get many different kinds of loans you can pay. The amount doesn't matter, the bureaus just want to see a record of responsibility. Just keep a credit card for years to add continuity, you don't have to use it, that will keep your usage rate at 0%.

It's truck driving(transport) you can start with vans locally to get used to heavy driving hours(OT). Then transition to 18 wheeler later. It's a lonely job but if you're serious about the 100k goal it's feasible.

Now that I read it with a clear mind, your best shot is the legal path, as much as you don't like to.

As for getting the money, it would take years or working and saving. There's no quick path.

A really good investment returns like 20% to 40% percent after a year, but the average will return less.

Any investment with higher returns will have really high risks and can make things much worse for you.

One possible alternate path would be to invest in a new business, but involves a lot of research and will also have medium to high risk while taking a long time to return the investment.
