For all the suicidal chemists that know a thing or two on here if there are any……

Will I die if I take a bottle of poppers (Im a phaggot of course I would have a bottle of poppers at my disposal) and mix it with some water or drink it straight up?

Since SN is getting harder to obtain and so is KNO2, Im desperate enough to ingest ANY form of nitrite just to die. Idc about pain since I know thats a prerequisite to death (except pain from partial hanging…Im not dealing with that shit again)

Though poppers can cause methemoglobinemia like many other nitrites do they also cause severe chemical burns.
I see that you are saying you are okay with pain... But I personally wouldn't advice it. Just imagining the mouth, throat, intestines severely burnt... I assume it could be way worth than pain from a partial attempt.
Especially if it leads to perforations...
The dosage also remains in question.

But I understand your urge though, I had been also considering this option, but disregarded it shortly after reading some cases of amyl nitrite/ isobutyl nitrite poisonings and poppers in general.

Can't exactly help with that but I would love to know what poppers feel like and how you can get them? As a fellow phagot I've only ever heard of them. I'm not really out there in the scene, if you know what i mean.

any nitrite *should* work i cant give u a 100% answer but any form of nitrite should work. Without the sodium u might have trouble with mixing it with water as sodium helps SN being soluble without it u might have a hard time actually getting it to mix with water. Dosage remains a mystery u would have to know the purity to make calculations for 25g of nitrite (if u can get it to mix with water).
Also while reaserching i was looking at a poppers store (gay store to be exact) and they sell a fucking MILITARY GAS MASK (MP48)

I barely know how to calculate measurements for a batch of fudge brownies let alone 25g of nitrite popper juice lmaooo. I really have my suicidal work cut out for me. Thanks for the info tho (also a military gas mask on a poppers website is insane LMFAOOO)

I am assuming that by poppers you mean amyl nitrite. When inhaled, in modest amounts, it's not dangerous (to most people), as I'm sure you know. It can be fatal by ingestion, but there is very little information available about what the fatal dose is. According to

the LD50 in rats is around 500 mg/kg. So if we assume that you are a rat (no offense intended) and that you weigh 80 kg, you would have to ingest 40 grams to reach the LD50 dose. To have more than a 50% chance of dying you would need a larger dose.

The specific gravity of amyl nitrite is 0.87, i.e. 1 milliliter weighs 0.87 grams. You need to know that if your bottles of poppers show volume, not weight, and you want to work out the corresponding weight.

That's the best I can offer. For many substances, the LD50 can vary, sometimes by a lot, from one species to another, so if we make you human again, instead of being a rat, I can't guarantee that the LD50 would be the same.

The effects of ingesting it but surviving can be very nasty. So I suggest you don't proceed any further with this until you are sure you have reliable information. And even then it would be prudent to ingest substantially more than the human LD50 dose, if you want to be sure that you don't survive.
