Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This is mostly just me being bored and rambling again but I noticed that many of these "pro-lifers" are just people who have been dealt good cards in life with little to worry about. These are the "experts" who have not experienced our pain trying to commentate on it saying things like "it could be worse" and "everything will fix itself". These people do not have a single fucking clue what some of us experienced to get to this point so they shouldn't get to judge or silence us.

My questions to these pro-lifers are:
1. Why do you continue to push your biased ideology towards our community if you cannot speak for the pain we have felt?
2. Why are you so against this forum if you are the very reason why it exists?
3. How would you push through the pain some of the members on this forum endured without ctbing?
4. Would you really never ctb no matter what happens? Take a good moment to think about this one.
5. To the journalists: if you believe everyone's life is significant and you are so against suicide then why does this not apply to the site administrators? By getting into their personal lives and harassing them do you really believe you are not affecting them mentally?
6. When is suicide justified in your eyes? Or is everyone just expected to keep going until they give out..

4. See point 3
5. I am not journalist
6. May be if It's only one way to save you honor and dignity

I guess I'm a prolifer in the sense that I'm generally against suicide and see it as usually the non-ideal option. But I'm not 100% pro-life, ultimately I don't think the state should be able to force someone to stay alive.

1. I don't push my ideology on anyone, and I can speak to the pain you have felt, because I have felt it too.

2. Not against this forum, just disagree with some of the ways things are run (mainly the methods section being available to visitors without an account).

3. I can't answer this because I can't speak to how others experience their own suffering. From many of the things I've read from people worse off than me, I don't condemn their decision to end their lives.

4. I certainly would end my life if things get unbearably worse. Anyone who confidently says they never would, no matter what, probably isn't thinking enough about it or doesn't understand how much you can suffer without it killing you on its own.

5. Not a journalist.

6. I don't think suicide is something to be 'justified' in the same sense as other things like murder, stealing, etc. Because suicide is fundamentally different, it is doing something against yourself. And no one (or almost no one) does it out of selfishness; it's done out of desperation, fear and despair. While of course people who commit suicide die because of their own actions, I don't think it as much that they killed themselves as it is that their circumstances (mental or physical illness, life dysfunction, etc.) killed them. To me, suicide is more like something tragic that happens to people, more than a choice they themselves make. It is closer to being struck by lightning than it is to murder.
