Enough money to buy a vehicle, and a house with some space for growing things and having animals to care for, and some in the bank for peace of mind. I am not hard to please. In my situation it could be done for $200,000.

Interesting questions!

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?

I don't know that I can answer this honestly, as there is no one I am interested in bringing back. However, with that caveat the answer is "yes."

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?

Yes. My personal belief is that my life is my life, and your life is your life, to live or to end as each of us choose.

Having said that, this question also does not rise above the theoretical, in the sense that there is no one out there who would remotely consider doing this if I CTB.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?

In all honesty? Maybe not, at least until I'm a lot older. If I somehow came into "Fuck You" money of an amount enough for me to isolate myself from the rest of humanity, with all my needs met and no need for any sort of struggle? I can easily see life under those circumstances being tolerable.

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?

Does not apply, I am in reasonably good health for a male in late middle age.

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?

Absolutely. I am indifferent to how I look, by and large. And I am ugly, barely rising out of the "scares small children" category.

6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?

Same answer as Question # 3, in all honesty. Yes, I am that shallow. And for my wish:

7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?

Yep. The past ten years has done nothing but confirm how worthless I am.

8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?

Neither of these are bugs to my mind, they are features. As in, knowing both would, If anything slightly increase the likelihood of me passing on.

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?

Unlikely. I consider the fact that I am alive to be contrary to rational thought and behavior.

Thanks for such interesting questions, @Ratherbeskinny, and everyone for all the good reading your answers make.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?

Yes but I can imagine wanting to accept this bargain someday.

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?

I'm pro-choice. They must be suicidal anyway, right?

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?

Yep, but I'd have more fun and do more good deeds on my way out if I could.

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?

Yes. The physical illness is a convenient excuse but I would kill myself anyway.

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?

Yes.

6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?

Given time I could probably come up with a good enough wish to be worth sacrificing my exit, but it would have a LOT of clauses in it.

7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?

Ten years is nowhere near enough time. I'd need to go back to when my mother was born and somehow make a lot of people behave very differently.

8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.

Sure.

9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?

Excellent! Yes please. Perfect!

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?

My cats are causing me to postpone it. Possibly there's someone/thing that would cause me to give up the idea entirely but I can't imagine that.

Thank you Sir, I do hope I find peace too, and the only way I can find peace is I plunge 1,000 feet free fall to my death, or put a shotgun to my skull and blast my head off.
My todder die in January, so 11 months already. He was very sick, he had terminal illness, the doctors said my son would't not live till 2 years old, and the doctors were right, he died when he was 1.5 years old, so he didn't make it to 2.

I have try to live without him, because I know he wouldn't want his mom to die with him, but I just couldn't do it. Every.single.day is I bawl and cry, the grief is killing me, the only way for me to truly be happy is death. Where I no longer have any conscious so I can forget my son has died.

I don't believe in afterlife, so I know when I plunge 1,000 feet to my death, my son won't come in spirit or soul or whatever to see me. I think once I jump, that it, it be over, we only have one life, and this life of mine is basically already over since my son died.

oh, and I want to CTB in January, the same date that my son took his last breath. But I can't go in January due to there be all those snow coming down, so if I plunge the soft snow will play as a cushion to help my fall. So I have to wait till snow melt, so I go in Spring.
Let hope this winter go fast, life has ZERO meaning, well to me it doesn't.
I am really sorry all this happened to you. Really there are some things in life we can't understand nor bare.
I don't have any children but I can only imagine what it feels to lose one like that :(
Sending you lots of love.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
Yes. Unfortunaly, nothing would change.

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
Yes.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
Yes - then i could even afford N lol. Just makes it easier and more quickly to CTB overall.

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?
Im not physically sick rn.

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
Yes. I could die like Adonis.

6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
Hell No!
Bring me back my beloved one, so that she stays with me!

(Solve the whatever-reason why to CTB... If it would just be that easy for anyone on here, to fix the 1 most precious thing in life.)

7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
No.
I would try to make all of this not ever happen. But I CTB anyways if it would not work out :>

8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
Yes. Its really sad.

9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
Yes. I absolutely really do not care. I'm dead.

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
No. Not if its meant to 'try to change my perspective' and the situation remains the same. Still going to CTB.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
Yes, I would. Also, I wouldn't wish to bring someone back into this world to suffer.
2
. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
Yes, because it's their choice and it's not my place to decide what they do with their lives (free will and freedom of choice).
3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
Yes, but I may enjoy life first and see if there is something to hold on to, however, at the end, it's still likely (realistically) that I will CTB.
4
. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?
Hard to say, because I'm not physically sick rn. However, if I had a physical illness and it was cured, then it would depend on quality of life from then on out.
5
. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
Yes, because there are more than just appearance and looks that determine whether quality of life is great or poor.
6
. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
Yes, since there are many more factors that would cause life to suck and not worth living.
7
. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
Yes, it is inevitable because due to Murphy's law and changing one variable from the past will change many outcomes today (some for the worse and some for the better)
8
. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
Yes, of course.
9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
Yes, and I would say that I am no longer suffering in a cruel, unjust world, eternal peace at last.
10
. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
No, there isn't. The best anyone or anything can do is to push the bus further down the road, but as all humans, mortality (sickness, illness, and other ails in life - whether at the individual or societal level) will catch up.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich? Not if it was substantial enough to give me choices, and the ability to help do good things.

7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now? Maybe not.....not 100% sure on that one. If I could go back '20' or '30' years, then I would probably not go through with it.

Interesting questions.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
Yes

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
Unfortunately, that wouldn't affect my decision. That would be entirely their decision.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
Yes. Although money would massively alleviate some problems (because who really believes money does buy at least some happiness?), it wouldn't fix the important things.

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared? N/A.

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
Yes. To me, my appearance is something I'd happily change but again, wouldn't fix much.

6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
No. I'd use the wish to not feel the way I have felt in my life to lead me to the decision I've made.

7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
Yes.

8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
I'm not religious, this wouldn't affect my decision. I don't care if there is/isn't anything after.

9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
I'd be quite happy if that was the outcome, I think that would be a great improvement to those left behind.

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
No, I don't think so.

I'd reconsider my decision temporarily if I could be born again into a charmed life. Be the "right" kind of human surrounded by a supportive, nurturing community, with the resources to make life largely what I wanted. But I think I'd ultimately still ctb b/c there don't appear to be many (otherwise) good deaths, even with lots of money. And not even great wealth staves off the horrors of advanced old age.

If your choice/decision is to (eventually) CBT, what or who would make you seriously reconsider that, if that's even possible? It can be anything or anyone. I have some questions I'd like you to answer, but feel free to only answer the question in the title. The questions down below are pretty random and no, I'm not saying either one of these should be a reason to change your mind. In my opinion, most of the times it shouldn't, but I'll get back to that. Take these questions as literal as possible.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?

I think I'm going to answer the questions tomorrow. It's late here and I'm tired.

Thanks in advance for answering the questions. It's not for school or research or anything. I got bored, went a little overboard and now I'm genuinely curious and interested in everyone's answers and opinions.
1- No. That would save my life and his too. A new start to both of us.
2- Yes. People don't necessarily mean connections, love, or care and if they meant then only these people would matter and not their loved ones to me.
3- No, i'd try to best tools then. Delayed and enjoyed meeting my connections, living life a bit and then leaving
4- Yes
5- Yes
6-Experience love, a healthy relationship, a sense of belonging, connection, compatibility. Roughly similar world views and values. Someone to call my home, freedom.
7- Yes, Knowledge doesn't mean experience, which shapes our understanding in a different way. With this knowledge that I have gained through experience, I'd have cracked much earlier. It was worse I was in escape world though and numb to tune it out.
8- Yes. It doesn't frighten me. Continuation does, Like when the hell is the end? I want my sweet nothingness.
9- Absolutely. I don't wanna be remembered
10- One person, but he wouldn't care about anything.

My terms are very clear on what'd keep breath in my monkey body, but at this point I think I will never live anyway. Those who were ever children, partying teenagers, enjoyed a kiss on teenage hormones, got to be snarky or needy at a partner knowing full well they will run after you and coddle your fee fees, who could ever consider breeding, ever actually got a celebration for a birthday or graduation or achievement, who were allowed to exist even when you did not behave yourselves, whose anger and venom were cute to somebody. I mean, somebody tell me before I die what it is like to be human, because I don't have the remotest fucking idea whatsoever.

7. For that I'd change my mind.
I'd already have met and married my husband. We were wonderfully happy then with our lives. We weren't rich, but we had activities and friends and none of the outside problems that happened to us since 2011. If I knew then what would happen taking that call from that sick bastard I never would have picked up the phone. Everything bad since has been a direct result (other than a physical problem that ended up needing surgical fix, but even that would have been handled faster and better if I wasn't blown off about symptoms bc "it's all in your head, it's just stress, it's psychosomatic, just take antidepressants it'll be fine....")

The genie from Aladdin can grant three wishes. Let's pretend the genie is real. Rule number one he can't kill anyone. So if I wished for non existence on the third wish it would break rule number one?. If true then I would need Jafar as my genie then. My first wish I would make the right to die as a human right. Second wish I would wish for unlimited resources of food, water, land for the world. Third wish I would wish for my non existence if genie can't help then for the third wish. I'll wish for the genie freedom (out of ideas lol). I'll get Jafar to make my non existence wish.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
Yes, absolutely. There's no one who I could bring back to life who would make a significant difference.
2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
I want to say no. Are they killing themselves solely because of me? No. Are they killing them selves for reasons beyond my suicide? Yes, to be honest.
3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
Absolutely. I've learned a long time ago that money doesn't buy you happiness or a good, working brain.
4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?
Yes.
5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
Yes.
6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
Maybe not. This is a hard one. Probably not. I'd wish to go back to a certain period in my life and re-do it with the knowledge I have now. Not all of the damage would be prevented but a lot of the damage that's impacting me the most right now would be
7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
Again, probably not for the reasons above. But another part of me feels like it would just be something else because its always something...
8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
I'm pretty sure of this now and completely okay with it.
9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
Yeah, don't really care about not existing as I'm going to be dead anyway.
10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision
Other than being able to go back in time and change things, no. There is someone who could steer me in a different direction but not change my decision as it's entirely my decision to make.

1. Yes
2. A tough one, but however bad I would feel with this, I think I would still do it.
3. Yes, although it would delay my CTB date by a year or so as I would want to vist few places
4. Yes
5. Yes, as appearance has nothing to do with my decision to CTB
6. No, I would wish for all my mental issues to dissapear so I could live rather normal life. Or i could wish for something so vague like my own happiness
7. No, If I were able to repair some of my mistakes I might not do it. I can't say it would be surely able to stop me from suicide though.
8. Yes, I am not scared of Nothingness. I am atheist since I am 12 years old.
9. Yes, I would actually be rather "happy" (if dead can be happy that is) if everyone just forgot about me. I don't want anyone who remains alive to feel guilty because of me. But at same time I would feel sad if SS members forgot about me.
10. Look 6 maybe combined with 7 too. There was one person but I don't think even her would be able to stop me now. So probably not.

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?

1. Yes.
2. Difficult. I would probably have to say no right now.
3. No. I'd try every treatment in the world and hire my therapist as a full-time employee.
4. N/A for me. No physical issues.
5. Yes.
6. Probably not, because I know the wish would help so much in my mood right now.
7. No. My problem started because of a job change I made in 2016, so I could fix that and maybe the path would be different.
8. Yes.
9. Oh hell yes.
10. Yes.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich? If I were rich I'd stay alive for sure. Job / finances is why I'm doing it n

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like? I like how I look

"What or who would make you reconsider your decision?"
Money, drugs, and a hug. (joking)

3. if you suddenly became rich?
- Could help treatment, ease distress, I'll suspend ctb.

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?
- No. If I get better I'll reconsider.

6. if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
- To die? ;)

7. if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
- If I could do it all over again, I won't spiral down – probably not ctb. :|

The rest are really one big "I DON'T CARE".
1. if you could bring 1 person back to live?
2. if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
5. if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
8. if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
9. if that meant your entire existence would go away?
10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?

how did you know that i'm a slut for questionnaires?

1. would you still go through with it if you could bring one person back to life?
if i could choose which person i brought back to life, i probably wouldn't ctb. my depression spiked after the untimely death of my grandmother, and if she came back, everyone in my family would be happy again.

2. would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you know (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
that's a tough one. it depends on who those three people would be.

3. would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
heh, probably not. i've always wanted to have a large sum of money. most people think that money doesn't equal happiness, but i would put my money towards things that would make me happy. being surrounded by nice things makes me happy.

4. if you're physically sick right now, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly disappeared?
probably. my asthma isn't too bad (knock on wood). even if i no longer had asthma, i'd still have bpd, bdd, depression and anxiety.

5. would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
no. i have body dysmorphia, so if i became the person i've always wanted to look like... i'd be too thrilled to ctb.

6. would you still go through with it if you could make one wish? if so, what would be your wish?
at the moment, no. i'd wish for my university to take me back. i was just academically dismissed and it's tearing me apart.

7. would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
i'm not sure. i don't think so. if i was eight years old with an adult's brain, my life would be ideal by the time i reached 18 again.

8. would you still go through with it if you knew for sure there would be absolutely nothing after dying? no hell, heaven, an afterlife, reincarnation, etc.
nope! i don't like the idea of that. i'm a very spiritual person, so finding that out would disappoint me into enjoying the rest of my life.

9. would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away?
fuck that shit! i'm too much of a narcissist. also, i want a kickass funeral.

10. is there anything or anyone at all that could change your decision?
while i love my friends and family, the only way i'd stay for complete sure is if my ex came back or i was miraculously allowed back into my university. both of these things meant the world to me and now that they're gone, i'd rather ctb than cope.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live? Do I get to pick the person? If so, no. I would sacrifice myself to life.
2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind? It depends on the people.
3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich? I already am wealthy. It doesn't make you happy. If anything, it makes you more miserable since when you are poor you can at least believe if you had money you could buy your way out of depression. Having money proves that wrong.
4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared? Not applicable to me.
5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like? I don't have a problem with my looks, so yes.
6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish? No.
7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now? That is a tough one. I would for sure give the reboot a shot.
8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc. That is icing on the cake. If I kill myself it is because I am sick of life. Last thing I want is more life.
9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say? Another incentive to kill myself. One thing holding me back is the guilt of what it would do to people.
10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision? People who are suicidal are suicidal because there is no hope. If there is something or someone that could give them hope, then they obviously wouldn't.

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?

I'm pro-choice. They must be suicidal anyway, right?

I believe the implication of the question was that they were happy before, then suicidal after losing you.
