Question about site navigation

Hi SS. I signed up to SS a couple of months ago, found a couple of great, super informative threads about an issue I am concerned about regarding, of course, CTB. I have not logged in in a while and now I can't find them and don't even know how to look for them. Has the site's design changed? It feels like it was different back then. Anyway, I would appreciate it if someone could help me in locating these threads. I can't find a 'Search' option. Is there one?

I think you need a certain number of posts ... before you can search .
You can still go through sticky threads if that helps to get you going in the right direction

Hey squirley, thanks. I saw something to that effect somewhere, someone mentioning there was an unknown number of posts you needed to make before you can do searches. I can kind of guess why that would be so, but now what, am I supposed to just spam the forums so I can get to that minimum number? What would you advise?

Why can't I access private messages or the search bar?
To do that, you need a certain amount of contributions - we can't tell you the exact number. It doesn't matter if those contributions are comments or threads, both count towards the threshold amount. Do not spam low-effort posts though unless that fits in with the nature of the respective thread (e.g. counting).

There's an off-topic section with forum games, you can also comment there if you don't want to comment on the suicide section. I think the search function opened up for me after around 10-20 messages
