Will this work? I'll have the shotgun on the floor just like in the picture and I'll have to hold the barrel because the shotgun is long. I know holding the barrel is advised against but I took it to the range to try shooting it while holding the barrel and it's fine until it starts to get hot which is like a few shots in. I'll be using 12 gauge 2 3/4 buckshot for ammo. I'll have the shotgun in my mouth and shoot in the same exact angle as the picture.

I think the angle should be 10-15 degrees

What's your understanding of the best angle inside the mouth? Angle as in versus the gun being perfectly parallel to the floor/set to shoot the back of your throat. I've seen 45 degrees but below I see 10 to 15 degrees

I'm interested in doing this as well. I thought about placing the gun similar to the photo but up right, then just use my toe to pull the trigger. I've staged it and seems like it will work. I just don't want to leave a horrific scene.

Will wrapping my head with a thick blanket help with holding in the blood and brain matter? I also thought about going to the woods to do this but then I'll just be considered a missing person and be more of a burden dead than alive.

I don't think a blanket will help matters much, it'll probably be ripped to shreds on the exit hole and slide off of your head. Are you worried about being found by family/friends or do you just not wish to leave a gruesome scene regardless of who finds you?

I don't want to leave a gruesome scene or ruin any property.
