Question about guns

Would suicide by gunshot to the heart be the almost most effective way about killing yourself? I plan on committing this act in a few years with a Glock and I absolutely don't wanna mess up and be vegetable if I do a headshot. Plus I don't wanna traumatize the paramedics who retrieve my body or look disfigured. I'm aware it would be beyond painful and bloody but would it be all over so quick that it wouldn't be the worst idea? I wanna pass away conscious to see if I see god and have time to reflect on my life.

plus, a gunshot to the heart would work if you had a bigger caliber other than a 9mm.

If you're absolutely determined to do it via a torso shot, you might want to consider upgrading to a shotgun. You need to inflict as much soft tissue damage as possible to ensure rapid failure of your major organ systems.

Sorry to say, but I'm with No_Lxve on the point. You're going to CTB with an inherently violent method as opposed to poison or overdose--your body is going to look mangled no matter how you do it.

not 100% sure on the shotgun to the heart. i would think it depends on the ammo? if you used a slug, then ok. not entirely sure those little pellets would get through the rib cage. personal though is 'yes'. i've never tested it obviously. but since it's lower, it'd be harder to reach the trigger.

it's really a gamble. I wouldn't take the risk of a 9mm going to your chest, I would recommend a bigger Cal to make sure it hits your heart at least.

At point blank which caliber for certain would damage my heart? Not really open to a 44 magnum. That seems like a dam mess.

I'm not encouraging anything here but the 38 special - 44 magnum would be the best options here.

the .44 mag will scare the shit out of you. i fired it once in a cold basement firing range and was trembling after ever other shot that i missed from the bad recoil. 9mm was nothing in comparison. do you have a gun range that you can get to? try them out first. there are places that you can rent a gun to test.

A shotgun at an appropriate angle in the mouth has the most reliable success percentage.
