Quelling Fear Of Death?

hello, everyone. im not great at social situations, so.
how do i get over my fear of killing myself? my life isnt the greatest, far from it. ive spent almost 3 long decades of misery on this planet and want off. i have a model 27, which is a .357 revolver from s&w. im prepared that death my be agonizing. im prepared that i will be going to hell when its done and said. but everytime i go to actually do it, i cant. i dont know why. how do i get over this and actually get it done?

I've come face to face with my SI several times. It seems to have a mind of its own....but I believe that I will overcome it when the time is right to do so, perhaps when the fear of death is less so than the fear of living. I'm only guessing.

i guess that does make sense. ive been trying on and off for a decade. sometimes with actual deliberation and it just didnt work out, othertimes half heartedly. eventually, something will give. hopefully sooner rather than later.
