i have CTPSD and it bloody sucks how deliberating it can be. My meds make things abit more tolerable as I'm on alot of pain meds, but have to try to ensure that I'm just not off my head all the time. I have t. make a conscious choice to be in reality

CPTSD here too. everything sucks and everyday sucks and i suckI have CPTSD and have been struggling a lot lately, mainly with emotional and phantom feeling flashbacks. Going through a police reporting process of my ex partner and reliving trauma from almost 5 years ago.
I tried reading a Pete walker book a few months ago. I couldn't finish it due to stresses but the things I did read were very useful. Id definitely recommend reading them if you want some help understanding yourself and learning coping mechanisms. Some of his audio books are also available on YouTube for free.Yep. Wears me out. I'm a little better today because the kid came over and spent the afternoon with me. I don't know what I would do him.

Yuppp. Among other health shit. Ugh. Things that help(meds) make other things worse. Cannot afford therapy atm. Socializing is hard. Etcccc CPTSD SUCKS.

Yes indeed it is. I feel morally wounded by it and might be the reason I CTB one day. Not the only thing for sure, but a contributing factor.Similar threads
