@jrums passed away at February 10th. (I think it was Feb 10th). This human-maden illness completily ruined his life and lead him to suicide, which is for me actually murder! RIP @jrums :(

Im unable to feel an emotions at all. My anhedonia is so extreme I spend all day in bed just staring at the wall and smoking cigarettes and messaging my fiance who I don't even see because I can't enjoy human interaction.
I don't respond to coffee or alcohol or meds or benzos. I have severe sexual dysfunction and no libido.
Its one of those situations where CTB is inevitable. it's not realistic at all to expect to stay alive while bed ridden and unable to enjoy even the most basic of human pleasures.

thx. I also find due to the anhedonia it's really hard to even find the motivation to CTB even though I think about it every second of every day
I wouldn't think they have improved in this short time. I have PSSD too. I can't cope.

How do I know if I've gotten some of this or if it's just depression? I respond to coffee and alcohol, I can masturbate but don't really enjoy it.
I'm still here my friends.. The site got shut down but didn't realise they had put it back up! I didn't realise there were so many with PSSD on here! Mine is not liveable in any way shape or form.. Extreme anhedonia, complete sexual dysfunction, chronic insomnia, serious memory loss, horrendous cognitive issues. If I did not have anhedonia and insomnia I could live with this (would still be a shit life) but I would be able to cope. I don't react to alcohol or drugs anymore.. One thing that does seem to affect me is 'ketamine' I was thinking of doing a lot of this and partial hang when I'm pretty much out of it! I'm so sorry this has happened to you to all of you.. I know exactly how you feel.. We never deserved this! May big pharma and psychiatry rot in hell for eternity!
Comes in different severity my friend.. Some people can have a mild form of it and not know about it.. If you have decreased genital sensitivity, weaker orgasms, low sex drive.. This could mean you have it! Even then some people don't get sexual issues but have anhedonia/blunted emotions

I also had memory and cognitive issues, I stupidly decided to take another ssri called vorteoxetine 2 months after I initially got pssd. It cured my memory and cognitive issues but made everything else worse.
I feel exactly the same, I also have no motivation to do anything in life because of anhedonia, and yes i also dont even have enough motivation to ctb , this is literally hell !

I'm curious. Are you sure that anhedonia is part of PSSD? How do you tell it's not a depression symptom?

I've been damaged by antidepressants, although in another way. It's why I'm suicidal. Goddamn poison.
anhedonia related to depression is related to mood. So for example if you lose your job and become depressed you may not engage in things like you usually would due to psychological depression. anhedonia from pssd is more of a fundamental issue with neurotransmitters so your unable to enjoy anything under any circumstances.

You'd have to have a good baseline, then. The same circumstances (more or less) except for not taking / taking demon pills (having stopped taking them for a long enough time). People that start taking the SSRIs and especially the more aggressive pills will most likely not have good baselines for how they felt when: not suicidally depressed, suicidally depressed (before pills), suicidally depressed (pills), suicidally depressed (after pills). At least not in my case, it doesn't help being a turbulent youth when they start giving you the drugs either.
I was prescribed ssri for mild depression after a break up and was on them for 7 years.

If it is just depression i would be able to cry normaly. Now I can cry, but barely, rare and a short, most of times i cant cry. My emotions are numbed!!! Btw i suffer with severe sexual dysfunction (loss of sensation down here), blocking of thoughts, memory and concentracion problems, chronic fatigue, tinitus, feel apathic, sleeping problems...

same! I don't have the energy or motivation to go buy what I need to CTB or work and make money for N. It's so hard for me to do anything other than sleep.

RIP. I have a similar post drug disorder. I saw him on a forum where victims of SSRIs, Accutane and Finasteride all hang out. People always talk about karma and bullshit like that. That's at least one thing I can laugh about now.

Jrums, and zadig777, they were both active on propeciahelp.com. There is another pssd guy who passed away not too long ago too. He called himself anhedonic ape but I don't know if he was ever on here.
I have PFS which has a lot of the same symptoms. If it's any consolation, my sex drive has recovered. I had almost zero sexual function at all in the early stages. I still suffer mental and physical symptoms but, just saying, these things do improve.

I'm not, im no longer human, been castrated, depersonalised, 0emotions, ssvere anhedonia and immsomia, just breading wishing for this nightmare to end. i regret myself every day of taking it the first two i was so naive a belive the pschytrist so i take them then i end up in a psyward and was forced to take the othera.. now i just want to die, i regret every day of why i took those mf, i was doing fine but never imagine those tipe of drugs existed and could do such damage, i feel it is permanet by now, cant event cry
