Every person has different reasons to ctb and we can't decide that for you.

Anyway, I became a NEET a few months ago and fortunately, I was able to get out from the "neet zone" but I'm still depressed. I don't wanna work, date girls, or study anymore and those are part of my reasons to ctb. I just find life pointless.

That's for you to decide, I think all reasons are valid because everyone experiences suffering/pain in different ways

PSSD is one of the reasons I'm here.
I was put on fluoxetine, clomipramine, olanzapine, queitapine and clonazepam, all of which can cause sexual dysfunction, and it was total dysfunction which I experienced after the first few doses. So, basically there's no chance of recovery for me, right?

Well I was on an SSRI for a decade, so I know that I'm screwed, but if you were only on those meds for a short-while then I think your prospect of recovery is a lot higher. I wouldn't give up hope just yet when it comes to your condition.

Thanks but I think you're just being too nice. There are hardly any recovery stories and it has hardly anything to do with how long they were on this shit. People develop this after a few doses(like me) and despite them stopping immediately after noticing the side effects, many have been affected for years. I continued to take these poisons for up to 8 months because the "knowledgeable" doctors assured that it would go away.

I've heard of a couple of people where it went away but you're right that any positive developments are uncommon. From my personal observation it's people that have been on drugs for under a year that have the highest likelihood of improvement (even if 'high' ultimately translates to 'incredibly slim').

Ive read that Wellbutrin is used to help with PSSD but there are other risks to that med like developing TD that might not make trying it worth the risk.

Your feelings and suffering are valid, but only you can know if life is worth continuing. I was on an SNRI for years, and it caused major sexual issues. Those issues resolved after I had been off it for a couple months. Everyone's body reacts differently, and you won't know how yours will till you try new meds or stopping them entirely if they are decreasing quality of life. Reading other people's stories is likely to give you an abnormal amount of bad outcomes since people talk about the normal or good outcomes much less.

knowledgeable" doctors
These same doctors did the same to me , and these meds are truly poison, they rewire your brain and after quitting them it would take the brain years to recover but sometimes it cant recover

I can only imagine the feeling to have to drop out, but I believe my intention would be to go back and try again if it were me (at 25 years ago..).

If I thought I needed to switch degree courses to something less stressful and less difficult, but still related and in medical I may have decided doing that.. Could that be a possibility?

I took Paxil once for about three weeks. It gave me erectile dysfunction where nothing would or could happen. I was only on it a short time, but everything did go back to normal for me. I hope the same for you, with whatever pssd problems are those medicines have caused you. I think and hope it is still possible for you.

If you are a guy? Have you tried ED medication to see if it may be able to help for right now?

Thanks for the input. I have terrible OCD and anxiety which led to a severe depressive episode in late 2018 after failing an exam. I've recovered somewhat only now. Terrified of going back. Also the PSSD issue is very demotivating. I don't even go out of the house now. Just fuck everything, man. I'm ready to pull the plug.

I'm another PSSD sufferer.. I'm so you lot are going through this, its the most cruel thing that can happen to a human being. My case is very severe, I have serious cognitive decline, horrendous anhedonia, insomnia, complete sexual castration. There is no way I can carry on like this, I'm so desperate to CTB.. But I just can't seem to overcome SI. If you have a mild case of this there is far better chance of recovery than me.. Mine is as bad as it gets, had it 2 years now.
Maybe we should all meet up for a PSSD ctb?

I have PSSD going on 3 years now. Also emotional numbness, horrible insomnia, body numbness, physical damage, etc. About 20 different symptoms that by themselves would be reason for suicide. The emotional numbness is the worst though. I'm just a human corpse with enough brain left to realize I'm a human corpse. Just non-stop torture. I have SN and will be using it soon.

I completed medical school, and it did not fix my issues with wanting to ctb. Finishing will not make you "whole" or any different of a person than you are now. I thought it would, which is the only reason why I didn't drop out. I'm still miserable. So don't feel like dropping out is giving up on life...there will be other careers open to you, should you wish to keep going.

Wait...I'm calling bullshit on med school if you are asking these questions here instead of pub med. Were you to actually search you would see the how ridiculous the idea that you have permanent and irreparable sexual disfunction after a few doses. If you are in med school, you should be thinking along the lines of what potential mechanism could cause that.

I have researched this and I know of people who have had PSSD for 20+ years after taking the meds less than a week. I know of people with PSSD for 10+ years after a single pill. There's research going on about the mechanism but it most likely is because of epigenetic changes which can't be reversed with our current technology.

Epigenetic changes that can't be reversed by existing technology? Geez... Simply string in words together does not a logical statement make.

Im absolutely calling bullshit on OP in med school in a developed country.
