I swear so many pro lifers and people who say dont kill yourself assume your problems are temporary. And that it gets better. This is far from the truth. For some people it's impossible for things to improve. Like for those with terminal illnesses or brain damage. Ending your life and suffering should be legal it makes me sick it isn't. Just venting. I hate being told it will be okay when I know with certainty it won't.
I'm 22 with brain damage and I'm in absolute misery that I need to end my life without assistance or live many many years in pure suffering. Worlds fucked up.

yeah, they essentially just think in black and white and are very aggressive about their approaches. they usually are under the assumption that people haven't already exhausted every option.

I'm so sorry to hear what you've endured.
For ignorance or potential indifference of pro-lifers, I think I can relate to you.
If I met a pro-lifer who insists zero suicide is achievable, I would throw this poem on them:

Hello self-righteous pro-lifers,
You preach at us, in frustration.
You can't see the weight what we carry,
And our sense of alienation.

If you want to feel you are righteous,
And your shining virtue to be shown,
Do something else, leave us alone -
Your act is just plain pernicious!

Meds, psych wards and, yes, lobotomy -
I'd call them Grand Theft Autonomy!

It's so incredibly inhumane how dignified and peaceful suicide methods are blocked by the society. I'm sorry you have to go through this awful suffering. I hope you find peace!

(It's very personal so not telling it is okay.)

No matter what pro-lifers say, your suffering is genuine and you shouldn't be told "it gets better" by anybody. Given that you have permanent brain damage, it's downright offensive.

That sounds really horrible what you have to endure, I hope you eventually find freedom from your torture, I just find it replusive how such a thing as pro-life exists in this world where there is endless potential to suffer. No matter what anybody says nobody is obligated to continue existing here, we all deserve the option of a way to leave in peace, to me it's criminal how we are denied that.

I agree with you. This world is truly a mess, instead of considering people's problems and how it affects them horribly on a daily basis they instead insist on us staying alive, banning any peaceful method. Even friends and family still aimlessly tell us that things will get better instead of truly stepping into our shoes and try to realize all the suffering we have to endure every day. In addition, its sickening how everyone berates us with their platitudes saying that things will get better when they don't understand that they truly won't.

I agree. This world is run by people who say they are "Pro-Life."

In all honesty this world is run by people who need all of us to live. We are best used as slaves to keep their system running. Like 9-5 jobs. It's just to keep it flowing and keep the money flowing into their pockets.

You're either running it or being ran by it. That's why they want suicide to be illegal. If they were truly pro life they would put more effort into making the problems in our lives less of a problem.

They need us with mental problems so they can sell us their medications. The medical system isn't perfect, but it's perfect to keep us coming back with money.

I sorry to keep saying "they", but it means anyone who's running this place. We all see it and accept it.

Do you see another "Civil-War" ever happening in a place like the US? Not every part of the US is filled with Consumers with deep pockets.

Our homeless system is getting bigger and some are trying their best to get out from under the thumb of the government. Say you have a loving family and then the father dies. The mother now has to get a job to support 3 kids with no skills because she was a housewife. Stuff happens and people fall through the cracks all the time….sorry for my rant…I just hate this world so much.
