Discussion Pro-Lifers make the world miserable

All Pro-Lifers are selfish. I find it humorous when Pro-Lifers call us selfish sometimes for wanting to CTB. But they don't realize how selfish it is to take away someone's right to take THEIR OWN life. We're all adults who can make choices for ourselves, including CTB.

It sucks they're taking away our painless/easy methods. Not everyone wants to go brutally, I sure don't. I hope to live in a future where medical CTB becomes more widely accepted and accessible. I wonder how that could be possible in a society where death / CTB is so taboo.

I agree. I'm sick to death of governments, do gooders any anyone who interferes with someone's freedom to choose. The whole world is becoming a nanny state with ultra woke idiots - who don't actually care about us or the cause - they just want to make noise and appear to have convictions.

Life-Warriors are a bit of a nuisance. Some of them are trying to come from a 'good' place. Death scares most humans. So, the idea that one would WANT to jump into the so-called 'abyss of nothingness' is puzzling to the masses. Especially if you're of the mind that this... THIS... existence... is ALL we've striven for as a species. If you believe that life is "the main event" and "the precious gift" that should never be taken for granted. Then, when you're faced with the idea that someone could look at all of this and say, "no thanks. I'm good." It becomes a bit of an existential trigger. It imposes a lot of questions upon an unsuspecting mind that hasn't quite figured out why life is so precious.

I don't think self-termination clinics will ever be welcome in this society, because it would be a heavy indictment upon it. Something like that, and the number of people who would actually go to them to complete their exit, is a tyrannical truth. It's reality holding humanities nose to its own poo. Self-termination clinics would (hopefully) make humans look at both themselves and the world they've created. It'd be a serious 'mirror moment' for the human race. And we all know that people don't want that.

The main event sucks. The entertainment industry is massive because life is worth nothing without it. Drudgery is what remains outside the hedonic bubble.

To me it's just inhumane to wish to leave people with no choice but to resort to painful and risky suicide methods, it's like they forget that we are all just destined to die anyway so I would see it as being logical to want to take control over my inevitable fate in a peaceful way. And do they really want to be tortured by old age, I think that it's irrational to want to endure that, life is just a futile process where the risk of even worse suffering is there at any moment, so to me it's always preferable to not exist. Nobody should be obligated to suffer all because other people decided to so selfishly procreate.

It's just another virtue signaling thing they do to make themselves look better. Their excuses are stupid, too. No, I don't want to die because it's a "heat of the moment" thing, and I'm not gonna regret it later, I've been wanting to off myself for 7 years now after every therapy and treatment on the face of the earth. Plus, it's my own decision as a consenting adult. So stupid.

I feel so stupid for not ordering SN sooner. I feel like crying. There's no actual help for suicidal people, they prefer to lock us away in psych wards and treat us like wild animals. No compassion, no empathy. Only fake attempts to "help" so they can think of themselves as good people. This's so inhuman.
