Pre attempt choices

Does anyone have or know of someone that made a choice to do something before they made their final journey, something you could only do knowing what was coming?

Well, I've read some posts of people accumulating lots of debts knowing there would be no problem because they would CTB.

As for me, before my failed attempt, I tried to have a lot of fun by consuming alcohol and some "drugs" such as DMT.
