If you don´t have 5 just post the ones you have, this thread is pretty much also a display to 'guests' on this site that removing one method don´t hinder suicide e.g. if my legally owned guns get taken away I still have other methods to replace it.

1 and 2 is pretty much 50/50 and the same for 3 and 4

Gunshot deaths are often not instant, not even to the head. It's not like in the movies. You can easily stay alive for hours, bleeding out and suffering, or even survive but disfigured, mentally handicapped and disabled.

Trust me I know I have done my research, I am going to shoot myself in the temple so I will go unconcious immediately but since I most likely won´t hit the brain stem it will take a couple of minutes for me to die but still I will be knocked unconcious immediately so it will feel like I will instantly die anyways and according to my research this process happens so fast I won´t even hear the 'bang' since it takes the brain around 150-200 milliseconds to know what is happening and by that time the bullet will already be inside my brain and I will have gone unconcious.

Basically to me there are a myriad of methods that sound good so it's difficult to decide, so here comes my negative top 5:

So basically (apart from jumping) all methods that require a minimum of skill during the setup, I'm pretty sure I would fuck it up and end up with brain damage lol
Gotta stick to my SN/N/whatever will be available when it's time for me in a few years

That is pure nonsense, with low tolerance to heroin and you inject like a gram or two will basically be like euthanasia, and I am a bit of a gun expert but you don´t have to be one to use one to ctb you just need to know the basics which is how to load the gun and not flinch when pulling the trigger.

I agree that you need some knowledge like no barrel under the chin like and actually aim for the brain but your statement says "it will ONLY work if you are experienced" which isn´t true any person who knows how to put the magazine in, rack the slide and put the pistol to their temple can use this method.

Pistol is worse than revolver bcz of the solide. I would not aim to the temple. I practiced a few months until I stopped flinching. I am used to guns.

What is "solide"

I know people hate the temple headshot and we are supposed to put the gun in our mouth, aim at 45 degree angle to hit the precious brainstem but it just over complicates things that is why I left the firearm megathread because you guys make it out to be rocket science and it stresses me out, plus for starters I have a Glock and have tried putting it in my mouth and try and aim which is tricky and feels uncomfortable scratching against my teeth I also can have a solid grip on the gun because of that and all in all I just don´t feel comfortable doing that whereas putting the gun to my temple feels easy and I know that will kill me I literally have dozens of pictures and videos of people ctb by shooting themselves in the temple.

Methods are often also what you feel most comfortable doing like jumping from a skyscraper will result in certain death so will train decapitation but some people are not comfortable with that so they use other methods, also I bet you wouldn´t bet money on me surviving shooting myself in the temple point blank with hollow point bullets.

Exactly, and when @Aap said he practiced for months I assume he aimed the gun with no bullets in it and pressed the trigger I have done that countless times without flinching, I don´t flinch when dryfiring my gun.

That´s how I see it too when using a firearm to ctb it´s just like turning off a light switch just click and you are gone.

That's why I like this method so much ! No nasty physical side effects either or bad taste in your mouth. Just place your shot correctly with a steady hand and...instant access to the bus ! It's the business class of ctb, no queing up....

Correction; gunshot to the head is painfree at least, according to my research you will go unconcious before you even hear the 'bang' from the gun it´s pretty wild to think about it´s basically a suicide button like turning off a light 'click' and done.

Yeah I am a fan of death being instant or at least go unconcious instantly because most my methods won´t kill me instantly but will make me unconcious immediately and with the gun it might kill me instantly if I hit a crucial part of the brain although doubtful since I am going with shooting myself in the temple but I will be dead in a couple of minutes a most and unconcious immediately after pulling the trigger.

And I agree it´s interesting to see other people´s methods since people mostly talk about just there main one, it´s also interesting to see how many have similar methods especially gun since not everyone has that option available to them, also seeing people´s choice of methods you can tell that some would rather not mutilate their body and have their bodies more peaceful looking, whereas others like me don´t care too much as long as it´s quick and painless.

Also handgun suicide using a 9mm isn´t gruesome at all to see I have dozens of pictures and videos of people who shoot themselves in the temple and it just leaves a little hole the only thing that could be considered gruesome is the amount of blood but that doesn´t bother me and sometimes there arent that much blood I even have some beautiful pics of a guy who shot himself in the temple the pictures look very nostalgic with the weather and he looks so peacefull.

I agree about instant death being best, but that's why I am wondering why you are going for a shot to the temple? Unless it's with a shotgun loaded with buckshot you might miss some vital parts of the brain and survive as a veg....I accidentally shot myself near the temple once I'm very much alive (the bullet missed the brain and just sliced a piece of my forehead off). Sorry I do not want to criticize, to each their method, but I just want to warn you, as a fellow gun suicide I would like you to have a good experience when you decide to go for it....please forgive me if I have been too forward.

I agree about the shot through the mouth, it feels uncomfortable to me too. But what about hitting the brainstem from the side? if you point the gun just behind your ear? Move it 5 cms backwards from the temple, same level, and you're safe. But again, it's only up to you and the last thing I want is to make you leave the discussion like you left the firearms thread....

Lets be clear when I say temple I don´t mean the temple by the eye where you can feel your pulse not even in the front of the brain (pre frontal cortex) I will place the gun 1cm above my right ear and 1cm in front of it approximately and I will do it on a semi secluded area in the middle of the night so I won´t survive; remember people only survive because they got "rescued" if there are no one around I am sure to die that is one of the reasons I will be doing it at night because no people no "rescue"

I had Nembutal but it was so bitter there's no way in hell I coulda swallowed two full bottles of that shit so I gave up on that method. I tried only a small amount it was so bad lol! I can't drink that much of something that tastes like formaldehyde or reminds me of paint thinner. I don't know what those taste like I was just describing what it made me think of.

Yeah technically the temple is right beside the eyes I am just used to the term gunshot to the temple as titles on suicide pictures or videos.

Aspirin won´t be an option since I can´t swallow pills.

You still have your Nembutal??? I'm not an expert but isn't there any way of making the taste bearable? It would be such a shame to possess such a rare substance and not use it
