Need people's opinion on a possible reaction to Primperan... Have you ever taken this before or known somebody to have a bad reaction to Primperan? As I took some Primperan and had a scary experience I became so agitated and dissociated that had to come home from visiting somewhere because I was feeling so bad. Couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. The Primperan did it's job for sure I didn't gag/go to vomit at all on two nasty tasting medications I usually gag on etc. So that was good.

But there is still that reaction. Now it could easily have been a withdrawal side effect when forget to take my Pregabalin that sometimes get, but even after taking it the agitation the dissociation was still there just reduced quite a bit in how it was effecting me. In your opinion does it sound like a side effect of Primperan? Or just a bad withdrawal dissociation episode?

It is different for each person and most do not experience any side effects, maybe 10% have side effects.
You only know for sure if you try it.

I will test it next week myself, will start with 10mg first and next day with 2x10mg. I'm a bit scared of side effects as well.
I only have 1 pack of 20 tablets and intend to use a stat dose not a 48hr regimen

Domperidone is less likely to cause CNS side effects than meto

What happens in the video doesnt say it will happen to you or me. It is possible but not likely. But they did take it of the market over the counter sale. So only in special cases the doctor describe it.

I just took some Primperan for the first time ever this past Tuesday.
I took 3 of them and then an hour later I took 4 more.
An hour after taking the first 3 I didn't feel any different at all. I had no idea if they were working or not.
About 30 minutes after taking the 4 I started to get all jittery.
I was lying in bed tossing and turning with my whole body being all fidgety nonstop for about 4 hours before I started to calm down and fall asleep.
It was very uncomfortable and impossible for me to lye still and relax.
I ended up sleeping and lying in bed for the next 36 hours.
Every time I got up during that time I was extremely tired and weak and had to quickly go lye back down.
I only ate a couple pieces of toast during that time and lost 10 lbs.
I would say that it took at least 48 hours to get the stuff out of my system and get my energy and appetite back .

From what I've read, if you present to the emergency room with EPS (Wiki link) then they inject you with Benadryl. If anyone is worried about EPS it might be a good idea to have some Benadryl, aka diphenhydramine, on hand. As far as combining the two from the start, all I could find was that Benadryl "may reduce the effectiveness."

There are a lot of possible side effects of meto, though, and so it's definitely not a cure-all.

Do you reckon it's worth testing again having had my pregabalin before taking? Just to see whether it was a side effect of Primperan or withdrawal kicking in.

Also, I take Antipsychotic medications too. Is one at a greater risk of side effects if taking Antipsychotics?

Years ago, I have undergo gastroscopy and got prescribed Domperidone, I dont remember any side effects. However this year I have tried it ,took it for like 2 days as a preparation and I felt very bad next days.
Eversince I was injected this massive doses of antipsychotics last year, I can not tolerate any dopamine blockers. I get extreme fatigue, hard to breathe(respiratory system slow down), mood very depressed, feeling miserable (more than usually). Those injections f***d up my dopamine centre massively! They are one of the reasons why I still wasnt able to take SN yet, im terrified i will have that horrendous thing injected again

Source: Wiki article on Meto

Metoclopramide is contraindicated in pheochromocytoma. It should be used with caution in Parkinson's disease since, as a dopamine antagonist, it may worsen symptoms. Long-term use should be avoided in people with clinical depression, as it may worsen one's mental state.[12] It is contraindicated for people with a suspected bowel obstruction[3] and in epilepsy, if a stomach operation has been performed in the previous three or four days, if the person has ever had bleeding, perforation or blockage of the stomach, and in newborn babies.[13]

People with a history of ADHD, restless legs syndrome, hyperprolactinaemia, and Parkinson's disease should be closely monitored when using dopamine antagonists for treatment of emesis. People who take antipsychotics are recommended not to take metoclopramide.

Thank you for your answers so far.

So what Antiemetics are okay to take with Nembutal as a method to ctb when you take Quetiapine to help you function with day to day life?

Domperidone is the next most effective anti emetic and least likely to cause EPS. I'm thinking to combine it with 16 mg of ondansetron. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domperidone I'm concerned about it being effective enough to prevent vomiting from the N though.

Does anyone know if A sells domperidone? I haven't heard back from him yet.
