Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

There's a lot of negativity and pessimism on this forum. What are some good things that have happened lately or anything good you are looking forward to. It doesn't have to be anything crazy like winning the lottery but something that has significance to you

I've been able to maintain a really healthy relationship with my partner now for over a year. We've maybe fought twice in the 2 years I've known him and they actually adore and cherish me every day. Years ago I truly didn't think I'd make it to where I am because I couldn't see past all of the abuse and neglect that was keeping me down, I almost feel guilty for having such amazing things in my life when 4 years ago I almost took everything away from myself.

Experiencing so much pain and ill, I have the feeling that I can die at any moment and I even get afraid of sleeping and not waking up anymore. So just to wake up to another day makes me grateful.
Once I was having very bad symptoms so I got into the emergency hospital and I was luck enough (because I had bad experiences before) to have an awesome, empathetic, sympathetic, attentive, smart MD about my age to look after me. I was very happy to meet her, and I got to have a few more appointments with her afterwards.
I went do some exams but coming back I couldn't walk due to pain, weakness, shortness of breath, shaking, etc. Someone carried me with something. I was happy for that.
The clinic I of one of my specialist MDs didn't want to give me a return appointment despite it being their fault, but the MDs secretary did it. I was happy for it.
I'm happy that I'm slowly re-developing my CV so I can send it around...
I hate to state the obvious, but it is a suicide forum - the name is in the title. Just look at how many posts are in the suicide area, in comparison to the recovery.
I'll be moving to a new area where I can restart my life, and hopefully I'll start to become more content, and get back to my old self! Fingers crossed I will survive 2025.
Brilliant idea for a thread - cheers, put a smile on my face

Glad you're moving out! I understand its a suicide forum but there can be some happiness in all the bs. And like you said the recovery section is pretty small compared to the discussion section which could be discouraging. Also seeing other people doing good helps counter my doomscroling lmao
I was really social at school today and made my friends laugh a lot. A lot of teachers were absent as well so it was an easy day. I found some new really good songs as well.

I love that idea! 2 is a good start, the year has just began
I woke up 45 minutes before my 1st alarm today! It's rare to me to wake up early I texted with my mom and am grateful to have such an amazing mom. She's a damn angel
