Poor man’s ticket to ctb???

Within the next two weeks, I need to CTB. I don't have any money - how screwed am I? Is there a poor man's method? That's least painful?

I thought hanging, not sure what I can rig up. I don't have rope or extension chord. I thought choking with a belt. Some type of sleeping aid over the counter then start choking or hanging before I'm completely out.

Not practical where I live. Also, I wouldn't have the balls to jump. I could do suicide by cop. Two people died already this month that way in my city. I wanted something more peaceful though. I don't want attention or to be saved.

I'm sorry, but… since when are we protecting cops morality? How often have they killed innocent people? Especially those they didn't protect from abusive exes. Are you a cop?

have you considered the CO method?

you may not have enough money to buy a tent, but a small room can be used. you probably have a lot of the necessary gear, and charcoal is quite cheap if you can spare the few bucks :)

this is a method that sounds very peaceful if done correctly - but requires planning, patience and preparation.

@DeadWallflower I'm sorry that life brought you into this position. Unfortunately, without money the options are very limited. Jumping or train is such a cruel method that I would not consider in any case neither for myself nor for anyone else, but that's just my opinion. It's either hanging, a rope is not too expensive or the CO method (using charcoal) which is also not too expensive.what I would suggest to look into.

Yeah, not trying to be rude, but the police in America are armed with guns that will leave you dead or wishing that you were dead. It's not like it's some secret that they might have to terminate someone one day.

I would disagree, cops already have a lot of shit to deal with, causing them this extra stress by forcing them to kill an innocent person is just unnecessary when there are so many way better ctb options that dont involve other people in it

Here we go again condescending about a method being morally wrong. If you're planning on taking out other people with you, then yes, that's morally wrong but then that would be terrorism. In another thread someone was using this argument against ctbing in a motel because it would upset the maid! This is a suicide site and not a damned daycare or a church. Most of us are going to hurt someone emotionally and psychologically by ctbing but it's not going to stop you, is it? The individual came here looking for advice and not lectures. That having been said, to go via cop you would need a weapon at the very minimum and then you'd have to probably be threatening someone else or several people and I doubt you want to do that so because of the intensity of that scenario and what you've already said let's just rule that one out! Rope is cheap and so is charcoal and matches but you'll need a tent or a large box and a small grill. Briquettes need air all around them to light properly. I've noticed a lot of dollar stores stack charcoal and lighter fluid out front in many places at least around where I am. It probably wouldn't be too hard to abscond with enough but of course I'm not suggesting to steal it because it's morally wrong!! Apparently it's a thing in Japan to use a small hibachi grill in a car. Lots of people join here wanting to ctb and have never spent time researching so that's my suggestion. I'm sorry you're going through this. We're iall living n our own custom built hells. If you want to talk about why you're wanting to do this then this is a good place for that as well. We don't want to be like just saying to go out and ctb over everything. There is a recovery section too but I totally understand that I'm not you and I'm not standing in your shoes either. I'm not a pie in the sky prolifer

I completely understand what you're saying but when you become a beat cop who is carrying a firearm and dealing with volatile people, you know what you're getting yourself into. Guns don't exactly breath life into people. Haha.

All you basically need is a body of water(lake) and some privacy(nighttime or area with no lifeguards). It also could be ruled as an accident, if you don't want people to find out, because you literally drowned

Or you obviously could use a bathtub, if you have one.

Where are you on the planet? I could have sn +antimedics on my door in 2 days for 25$. Seriously. For charcoal, some duck tape, wet towels, 13$ bag and ur set. I also have a blow tortch to start it
