I haven't tried it, but the markings on the rope might be uncomfortable. I would take it over regular ropes, it seems sturdy enough to hold a human body's weight (unless extremely overweight, perhaps).

I'm going for a short drop and I just tested the tightness. It was a real struggle trying to pull it it apart so I think I'm good.

I read somewhere that this type of rope can come loose easily so I have to check to be on the safe side

I'm going to use a polypropylene rope too, (a provence outillage 01665), i'll try the long drop so it shouldn't be uncomfortable since i'll be unconscious instantly.

Polypropylene is ok, but you should check how thick it is and what´s your weight. Sometimes polypropylene isn´t as strong as a hemp rope with the same thickness
