My favorite is Lil Peep, then convolk then Juice WRLD and then maybe xxxtentacion
Which is ironic because the general popularity is the complete different direction except if we switch Peep and convolk.

I could have included way more rappers.

I can promote another emo rapper now. Je$$e. I think he quit music in 2022 though.

But his songs are quite good. Especially, Barbie.

I thought this subgenre was left in 2016 (and then maybe transformed into Hex'd? and Crushed? Sigilkore? whatever the kids call/called it)

never really enjoyed it but it was tolerable sometimes

I am shocked that Black Kray and Yung Lean (but I guess it's confusing since he was using Vaporwave aesthetics as well) aren't on the list or artists like 6 Dogs (R.I.P), Danger Incorporated, Bladee etc.

Here is another creator and emo rapper who I highly recommend. He (Lil Xtra) sounds a lot like Lil Peep.
