Very "interesting" answers to read through. I have only searched and watched a few of them this couple of months when researching my method (hanging) but even that was painful enough.

I prefer watching gore of accidental accidents or someone commiting suicide or harming themself. Because no one else is doing it to them.
There is a third kind - death by carelessness. By the carelessness of others. Now that's deep - you're killed by humans who only wished you love or something.

I've never watched gore because I've never had a desire to. I'm not scared of blood or anything, but I just don't see a point in watching gore.

I started to watch gore in my teens to get closer to death and be less affraid of it. But I think I've seen everything now. It doesn't give me pleasure to see torture and just horrible horrible pain death and suffering people are capable of doing to each other. It doesn't really move me anymore and it's just meaningless. I feel like I'm done

i am really into movies so it's no surprise it lead me to that disturbing movies iceberg on reddit and i watched all of it to try and feel something when i was 13. yea, i admit it was kinda edgy but i felt pretty much neutral for the most part after getting used to the movies (was still pretty fucked up but normal in terms of genre like those) but when i got to the near bottom of the iceberg i fuckin gave up, it was basically just snuff porn and tortured women. it lead me to gore in wpd.tv and that's how i raised my tolerance for disturbing shit but don't get me wrong, i still didn't like any of those. watching gore makes me think if anyone would actually wanna die in that way and if some people are satisfied enough to die in whatever ways there is in store for them, or the method and planning matters to them.

I have watched it since childhood sporadically, sometimes I'd go weeks without seeing any gore whatsoever and there were times when I'd visit gore sites daily.
I don't get a kick out of it except some ones I found amusing, but those were sorta silly in some way.
I used to watch it because I took pride in being more desensitised than others, so the fact that I felt nothing from watching it made me feel superior because I knew others would flinch or be disgusted. Now it's just morbid curiousity.

I was exposed to gore through old forum raids back in the day and it desensitised me quick to it to where I looked at irl gore a lot, watching react videos to it, seeking out the gore from time to time thru other forums and such. Having an irl gore blog. These days I avoid irl gore unless I'm really feeling in a bad mental spot and have to look at it, otherwise I mostly engage with it thru art and art alone.

Looking at irl gore constantly just isn't good for the psyche. Fictional gore though--eh. I draw it.

I watch gore everday, i enjoy watching people's existence go out like a candle.

I frequent many private forums in order to get my fix, i enjoy seeing messy bathroom deaths, thick congealed blood and wide open eyes.

Vehicle deaths are my favourite, dismemberment and the like since i haven't seen it in person unfortunately.

I don't enjoy deaths that involve "dirty, sexual nature" even i have standards and it makes me exceptionally angry.

Yea, everyday i guess, i sometimes eat my steaks while watching gore or animal hunting, seems to add a primal seasoning for free.

Something that hits different for me, everything else is bland and unexciting for me and has been since i was 8.

When i watch gore i genuinely feel something which is why i personally have become addicted to it.

Maybe that helps a bit
