  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

i was just thinking if i ever commit suicide would the police go through my devices after? And would they be able to access locked devices? I don't want any of my data being accessed, I would rather not have to delete everything tho. I have a macbook and iphone

They wouldnt be able to access your devices without the password or your face id. Maybe disable your face id just as precaution if you dont want others to access your devices

This question gets asked a lot. Like sue1984 said, it depends on the circumstances if they will or not. But yes, they can access locked devices.

If in doubt, wipe or destroy.
