Planning to use no-spa - is it a good choice?

Hey there. I'm here to ask your advice. Somewhere on a forum I've read that you can use no-spa to CTB (about 200 pieces plus antiemetic taken before). Please tell me if it's gonna work? I can't get N and SN here.

Update: I can actually get SN here but I still consider this method as a possible one.

I haven't looked to much into this method but it seems if you survive it could give respiratory disorders. I would definitely look at the other thread you were on and see what the other people wrote

Unfortunately there are no answers to this, just an advice how to use no-spa.
It could be a good way for me because I have almost no budget and can't buy anything expensive to CTB.

I searched just a little, but did not found many infos. I did not even know what a "no-spa" is. Apparently, a medication that contais drotaverine and maybe (some countries) procaine. As far as i could reach is an antispasmodic drug

I'm interested in that too, getting N or SN is almost impossible in my country but not no-spa.

As I understood he just bought big amount of nospa, I don't know the details
He took it in the evening next day he was dead

Russian is my first language, so I read it. It is possible that this soldier had something else (maybe no-spa provoked a stroke) but this amount of pills is not enough for CTB. As far as I know it's 2 pills a kg.

According to this page, the ld-50 dose for drotaverine is 540 mg/kg (oral, rats). The pill contains either 40 mg or 80 mg. The most obvious choice is 80 mg pills.
For a human from 40 kg to 90 kg it would be from 270 pills to 608 pills. It might work as I read there were people which caught the bus via drotaverine. However, since it's such an unpopular method it's really hard to predict the efficiency of no-spa.

LD-50 is just a raw theory. LD-50 means only that 50% of laboratory animals died after applying such a dosage. The real dosage efficiency consists of more factors. I don't know what the biochemical mechanism of dying is. Since drotaverine is an antispasmodic drug I suppose the death is the result of a lethal respiratory muscles failure. Still it's hard to predict how challenging it is to rescue such a person relying on theory. It also depends on possible interactions between no-spa and other meds. The only information I found is that levodopa seems to affect the duration of drotaverine but I don't know if it's good or bad in terms of ctb.

This is very useful info. I think no spa comes in packs of 50 pills or so and it is OTC. The more important question is the mechanism and if the passing is peaceful...

yes because if you crush them and diluted them inside water it could be ingested

It is a cardiac switch—will cause a heart stroke. You'd need other ingredients to make yourself unconscious. If you look up multi-medicine cocktails in PPH book you could substitute their cardiac switch with no-spa, just need to research dosage.
Problem is other medicines for the cocktail are hard to source.
