Venting planning on leaving friends

i have been in a discord group for five years with my only friends, i'm planning to leave them so i don't chicken out, late december, i have told them my plans of CTB to give them closure, they know they can't stop me from doing whatever.

i really don't see myself going past december, maybe early 2026.

While it is up to u if one should leave or not.... I have heard stories here of people regretting isolating themselves.

i feel this so much. i have a group of amazing friends on discord and im sad that im going to be leaving them behind. they know nothing about my plans to ctb and im too scared to tell them but i hope when i do, they can forgive me in time
