Wow do I relate to this comment so very deeply. I'd give anything ANYTHING to go back 35 years before my life really really went to shit and I still had dreams and optimism for my future (and also slightly better health and my mother was still alive)...and that's saying a lot because my childhood was pretty hellish but it was still sooooo much better than now.
Looking at pictures from back then hurts so badly because I wish so much that I could go back in time. I have zero photos of myself after around 1995 except for a few 'selfies' I took of myself but that's fine with me because life wasn't worth documenting past around then anyway.
