Hell is made up by religions to scare people to keep them here . Earth is hell. a loving being wouldn't punish someone for being mentally ill

If a god created you to make you suffer so much that you r pushed to commit a "sin" (in this case suicide) to be relieved from your pain and suffering and this god punishes you in hell afterwards forever then this is truly a sadistic god. Not all-forgiving all-merciful, as god is described in various religions.

Religions are indoctrinated beliefs to control the masses of people by fear.

Hi! Born and raised Catholic here. Any Christian who tells you you'll go to hell is wrong :)! God is a loving god. I believe he forgives all.

Well, Samson got divine help,according to the Bible, to both kill himself and murder a whole shedload of Philistines at the same time.
Plus he gets a mention in the list of heroes of the faith in Hebrews 11.
If ordinary folk like us can get how desperate a person's life is for them to return to sender I'd believe that a Creator would understand.

These concepts are worth less as you realize how much these beliefs have changed since their conception, that's why many are self-contradictory. The conception of hell, for example, has changed a lot over the centuries, until Dante Alieghieri introduced its structure in the Divine Comedy, hell was rather abstract.

If it is to speak specifically of suicide, it is a matter of interpretation, similar to the Jehovah's Witnesses equating blood transfusions and cannibalism, the act of ending one's own life would be against one of the commandments "Thou shalt not kill". But it is just that, a technism. The word "suicide" is not used expressly in most modern translations of the bible,but the act itself is referred, Soldiers to avoid surrendering to the enemy, sad lovers after the death of their partner, technically Samson's story ends in a suicide.

Hey you're gonna get a lot of mixed responses due to different beliefs but I'm going to respond directly to your belief regardless of mine. And Christians who say you'll go to "hell' obviously aren't followers of Christ.

All sins are forgiven by what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. And when I say "you" I'm referring to any and everyone who truly believes Jesus sacrificed himself of the cross, resurrected on the 3rd day, is the Son of God and is seated at his right hand. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you are forgiven. You don't have to verbally ask for forgiveness each and every time you sin, after you've sinned. While it is good to do so, if the Holy Spirit is in your heart your inability to forgive yourself will exist. But this has nothing to do with God's forgiveness.

With that being said, there is 1, and ONLY 1 unforgivable sin in the eyes of God. That sin is blaspheming. Willful, defiant irreverence towards God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. That is it.

How your life ends has no effect on this. You either truly and wholeheartedly believe or you don't. All the rest is just, "hey look at me, I'm a better and smarter Christian than you are and here's my useless church going advice."
