People who are considering ctb by hanging - how to figure out best place to settle it? Where would you do it?

If I went for it, I would just do it at home. But I'm trying to figure out how one can do it, let's say in place like this?

This is just a random photo from internet as an example, but this is what most rooms/apartments look like where I live. We don't have those big strongly attached ceiling fans for example.
Where one could attach a rope if he wants to do full hanging instead of partial?

I would do it in the forest. I am considering hanging, I think it's a good way to experience death and if out alone in a forest it could be beautiful

i checked out the forest in my country but i must say there arent trees with big branches to the side. only high trunks...

maybe it is possible to tighten the rope directly around the trunk but i dont know how i avoid that the rope slips down. any ideas?

The only possibility for me since I also don't have ceiling fans or a closet with a horizontal bar, I set up to practice partial using a door. By attaching the rope over the door & securing it to the door knob on the opposite side of the door.

There was a time where I considered hanging as an option but not anymore. But before I thought I'd do it in a forest on some branch. Because honestly there's not many good places to hang in my apartment

Put a nail under the rope into the tree and the rope won´t slip down

I plan to do it in a garage at home. It has a strong anchor point but it isn't fully closed so I plan to it at night. I hope the cover from the darkness and cars would prevent my family or neighbors from seeing me before I truly die.

Hanging is a way to die that lasts about 15 minutes of agony while you lose oxygen and your circulation is cut off. If u are lucky you will lose consciousness in 2-3 minutes. I dont recommend it unless you are prepared to suffer.

This guy lost his conciouness in about 8 seconds with partial... So I wonder where did you get that it takes 2-3 minutes.

I would never consider CTB at my home. There are lots of options there, really solid cross beams in the basement and I can be alone in the house for hours. But I don't want a family member finding me. It will be such a shock to them, that I don't want to add the trauma of finding me.

My plan is to do it on a business trip - or a made up one - where I can have 48 hours or more in a hotel room. Since I know the various locations that have good exposed beams. I will also cover up the peep hole, since there are devices that will allow them to peak in. Then I will just bring out my CTB bag with all my tested gear, set it up and disappear into the void.

I know that I'd be found by staff, which is be traumatizing but not as much as if its a relative.

That's a brilliant idea!
Just a heads up , from my experience with those while they do manage to do a good job of supporting body weight while lifting they will very easily fall off if your body swings forward even abit which might be an issue with hanging.

In a motel. I do not want my family to be the ones to find me. I also don't want them to think of me CTB every time they walk into the place where I've done it. I want them to live in the house without that nightmare.

When I almost succeeded with partial I'd already OD'd on pain killers and just had a short cable off a doorknob and just slumped/laid against the door. Afaik piecing together from what my roommate said when he found me, it took about 3-5 minutes to lose consciousness but I'd already been drinking and taking huge doses of ibuprofen. So as far as I can tell, as long as you're comfortable just about anywhere can work. Drinking helps turn off the SI/panic though.

That is exactly what I intend to use. It will support your weight and is good for full or partial. With a two step stool, you can use the top step for adjusting and finding the best placement of your noose. Step down, it becomes snug and allows you adjust for that sweet spot. Then you walk off. Then unconscious in seconds and dead soon after.
