I know its absurd but, parents bring children here to enjoy them as babies but when they form a personality and are themselves… then they stop mattering. A lot of parents just want someone to take care of them financially when old. My parents tell me they don't need to respect me because they gave me birth. And I am like I didnt ask for this. Is bringing a baby to this world a joke? Some parents are so abusive. They never even wanted children to love them at all. Maybe they see me like a toy which now grew up to be a dysfunctional adult thanks to their bad parenting. I understand we have responsibilities when adults. But if you bring someone to this world is to love them , not to abandon or make their lives miserable after they no longer "cutie."

I think that people like that are very selfish. I would never see it as a good thing to bring someone into this world personally, especially if they have a life that is guaranteed to be only suffering ahead. Life is completely unnecessary as well and if someone is never born then it prevents any pain that is experienced in this life. To me non existence will always be preferable to any kind of life.

We humans are just biological machines who copy ourselves by reproducing, which means that having babies is a calculated cost/benefit analysis, which may be beneficial during one's old age - exactly how you put it.

However, it's the same for everything that we do. We eat other creatures for selfish reasons, so that we survive, unless we are vegetarian. Then, we work for selfish reasons, in order to receive money for selfish reasons, so that we can pay our way through life. Then, we reproduce for selfish reasons, in order to have some kind of helping hand when we grow old - and this is just a machine that keeps repeating throughout the ages.

When it comes to your parents specifically, though, they don't seem to have really appreciated you for being born, which is sad.

babies affect our brain in strange ways have you ever seen one and just went aww whata cutie yeah

Once it wears off the parents are left with a burden that they either have to learn to love or just take care off.

For me my parent had me raised me times became tough so my mother found a way to keep herself going that was by abusing my sister and i more emotionally than phisically but that is beacuse she is unathletic.

My father decided to just ignore us and scream at the world but from time to time had to remind us we were a burden.

Babies are easy to bring in to the world they are a reafirmation of love everyone wants babies mothers ask their daughters for babies but no one likes another person unconditionally not even parents as much as they like to say it its not in us to do it.

My parents barely showed me any kind of love. My mother always let me feel I'm a burden to her. She even told me I was just an accident.
She thinks my older brother became hyperactive and hard to raise because I was born.

She talked to me like I was her husband. Talking to me about her parenting problems. WHILE I WAS A KID.

She often looked to me with this completely uninterested look in her eyes. Never saw any glare in her eyes.

She emotionally abused us, she was physically violent towards us. She screamed at us. She terrorized us. She once forced us not to eat or drink anything for about 2 days because we were 'too loud'. She did really mean things I can't even explain.

I have so much hate for her. She made me an emotional cripple and is probably the main reason why I will CTB.

WHY DID SHE PUT KIDS INTO THIS WORLD? JUST WHY?

This type of stuff really pisses me off. I heard a similar line in a recent family discussion and let it be known that not only do I owe nothing to them for attempting the bare minimum responsibility of THEIR CHOICE, but I was not consulted on my wish to enter this world and absolutely would have opted-out. I had no desire to be a wage slave for 30+ years only to likely wind up homeless and without health care in the "richest" country in the world once I was no longer useful as a cog in the machine.

Short version, unless you are prepared and able to fully fund the lifetime existence of your child, you have no business forcing life on someone who didn't ask for it and I owe them nothing for "granting" me existence.
