Story Past lives and Reincarnation

I personally have a family member that had a near death experience. He said something about a peaceful other side. Looking over literature there's multiple recurring but sometimes often contradictory themes.

Personally I don't know if to believe that these experiences are anything beyond hallucination. As medication can make people hallucinate too.

Where I stand on this. If atheism is incorrect (of which I don't know, laws of physics contradict themselves) then id learn towards the idea of a simulation.

But honestly I know nothing.

Exactly!!!! There's a lot of possibilities. I have studied past life regression very closely. I was deep into studying it.
Due to the dexterity of the mind, there are can be infinite possibilities.. The ones that i can think of:
1. Real memory
2. Mind cooked up imagination
3. Mind used some details that it read or consumed in some form and brought forward just as it does when we dream
4. Channel information from the superconsciousness (superconsciousness is like the internet for our conscious mind)

It's really tough to guess if it's real memory or not. Even if the facts can be verified, then also, it could be the case that mind channeled into universal mind and downloaded info from there

If reincarnation is to be believed, then it's not random. Reincarnation is tightly coupled with your actions. Your actions determine in what conditions you will take birth in next life.

Don't worry about it.. You never know you may be born as a butterfly in your next birth or may be a tiger or a deer or a shark or a human who knows
Just live in the moment..
Even if your depression follows along, you'll have no recollection.. That means, this version of you will be gone.

Does that mean I could be born depressed in a next life and have no idea why? I hope not
