I have read that a belt makes a poor litigator. Could be why you aren't cutting off the arteries.

Seems like most people use a rope or a scarf. Also be sure to tie a slip not not a noose.

Are you on medication? Does your family know you are suicidal?
I think the belt will break and you will end up in agony.

The belt may not be positioning itself correctly to cut off the blood flow to the arteries.

Partial is harder to do right but less pain, full is easy to do right but more pain.

I've had to give up on hanging, since I have an "incompatible neck", as someone once put it. My adams apple is in the way and I just end up feeling like my throat is being crushed. I wanted to use partial as a back up after ingesting SN, and I may still try using something REALLY thin like a telephone cable. At this point, I would recommend something 5mm or less for partial, as it is bound to be more effective than a thick rope.

I don't get how you hang partially suspended , if you have your feet on the ground wouldn't SI kick in and wouldn't you just end up standing up anyway ?

Apparently you start to loose consciousness 10-15 seconds into leaning into the slip knot and after you drop you suffocate.
