So, I feel like a partial suspension is more likely to cause you to fall unconscious first before you end up dying. I have partially hanged myself for fun before using a pair of pants tied to my closet shelf because I would sometimes engage in the choking game (I would also sometimes do this with a Chromebook charging cable), and while I haven't experimented with a full suspension, I feel like a full suspension will kill you quicker while a partial suspension will cause you to pass out quicker. Either way, you'll die if you do it properly, but remember that you have to be doing it properly or else you will end up dying a slow and painful death. Also if it's a partial suspension then you could rescue yourself quicker I suppose, such as by standing up, though there have been times where people would engage in autoerotic activity and they would partially hang themselves but then they became too weak to stand up and ended up dying, resulting in an autoerotic death.

So really, it's up to you, but it's best to choose wisely and make sure that you are doing everything properly as I said before.
