Help Partial Hanging

I have my rope. I dont plan to ctb today, but I would like to talk to somebody familiar with partial hanging. I dont know too much about it and I have questions to ask. Thank you

Mainly what to expect and how to properly do it. I think I've managed to figure both of these out, but I'm not too confident in what I know.

You need to be specific if you want to be sure. This isn't reddit, you can speak your concerns. What you don't want is going about it without sufficient knowledge and suffer unnecessarily.

If youre doing it right you will pass out within 30 seconds, if your feeling pain or like your head is exploding youre not pressing the carotids youre pressing the jugulars. Tilt your head up instead of leaning your neck into the rope but make sure all your body weight is falling into it. Theres a great video on Youtube about it called "how the choking game kills demonstrated" by vice grip, its not graphic at all and shows how to do it properly

How high does it have to be tied? I was thinking of using the pole thing on my bed to tie it around and do it from there, does it matter how high it is? also would an extension cord be fine to do it with?

i dont think it matters as long as you can lean down far enough, people have died by hanging from door handles
