For those of you that experience panic attacks what are your symptoms like? I've been having this thing where my extremities go numb , pins and needles and I can't figure out if thats from panic. Like I'll sit down and I'll feel poor circulation in my legs - they go numb. Or when I lay down . It's better standing up. It's mostly my hands and feet. I've been panicking all day so I can't tell if it's that or not

are you sure thats not a nerve problem? it could be a panic attack symptom, stress messes with basically anything and everything. but i personally would be going to a doctor about that first (of course i have nerve problems and my panic attacks dont react like that)

I'm not sure I figured it might be with my circulation cause it gets better in certain positions

I get something like that on occasion, the pins and needles, and I don't have panic attacks. Could be nerve issues, could be circulatory issues, could be side-effect from a medication you're taking, if you are. Could also be from a disease. Diabetes is known to cause symptoms like this, once the damage is done to the nerves.

How old are you, if you don't mind saying?

I'm 20 , I mean I thought it could be panic attacks because I went to a cardiologist and she said hyperventilation can cause it - and I have been panicking like all day.

When i have panic attacks i get lightheaded, dizzy, massive levels of dread/fear, feel like there's a hole in my chest, trembling hands and sometimes i'm unable to steady myself.

All i can think of, of the top of my head. I've never had your symptoms.

I know I'm young but I had some SN like a month and a half ago , that I know kinda fucked me up. And I was also messing around with supplements and taking nootropics - that maybe could've messed me up ? So I worry about that
But I have read that panic attacks can cause tingling extremities

depending on what youre panicking about can you calm it down? if it doesnt stop once the panicking has passed then my first option became my second one

I start sweating, I want to run away in fear from which ever situation has caused to me, I can't stop crying shaking and usually it is hell. I have a lot of other physical symptoms and my mind is racing thinking the worse.
